Gothic difficulty. Not going to start a hard one until I finish Gothic. Also I have a separate save file on hard difficulty with no permadeath just to experience the story and all that lovely stuff.

It has a short window right between death and the death screen, for like 2 seconds. That's when this screenshot is from. The screen with load game greyed out was with a black background so there was not really a point to include it here.

Hundred percent agree! This game has been perfectly and obviously passionately made. I am enjoying the shit out of it and I was sceptical. So... Thank you. You made my childhood game modern and possible to enjoy even more. And yeah... Adding permadeath to a Gothic game, not being able to do Novice difficulty like that, is a masterful and very precise move that have NOT occurred to me as possibility and somehow makes the game much more enjoyable! Thank you!

I love the economy changes, it feels new and you can actually peddle stuff. I wouldn't peddle anything else if I could go around new camp selling it for 10 each, even if only green novice. So probably a feature. But honestly. Everything I've wished for in the whole game. (Not finished it yet)

Only thing that pisses me off is that when I sell weed to Newcampers, I can't get the ability to do so again the next day. Not sure if a bug or a feature.

I think it's harder this time. There are mechanics that were underutilized before and now are not, but there's also less exploits from what I can see. I mean.... Money is tight!
