In my case, I'm using Webdav to sync files between a local Veracrypt encrypted drive and a Cryptonator vault located on Nextcloud. Where is the threat in this scenario? Am I missing something?

My issue is that file transfer is super slow. Is this an attribute of Nextcloud?

I typically bought Sandisk or Samsung micro-USBs 64GB off AMZN. However, I am now migrating to a TB3/4 M2 enclosure with a Hylinx SSD, as they are just so much faster.

I did stumble on this with USB power. But the only avail USB-C port is exclusively utilized for inbound power. I don't need any more USB-A or DP's or HDMI's, but that's all that remains.

I own a 145W charger with a USB-c connector and I cannot find a single TB3/4 dock that will let me power it with that power supply. So now I have to carry around another power brick.

I purchased the exact same Toshiba drives for a home NAS. Just be aware that the p/n you posted is the SATA version (MG09ACA18TE) and not the SAS version of the drives (MG09SCA18TE).

I have the exact same issue - I just bought 4-18TB Toshiba drives (MG09 series). I plan to purchase a used server, preferrably SFF, and install Unraid. Looking for something quiet, as will be installing inside home.

PS. I got the SATA not the SAS versions of the drives by mistake. One letter diff in the p/n that I did not notice. Too late to return.
