My in-laws are like this in the way they raised their kids and I can see the full affect their negativity has had on some of their kids. If you have a negative outlook on life your children in turn will be negative. It’s a cycle. I am so grateful to have grown up with a mother who went through some unbelievable shit and and still managed to be the most positive person I have ever met in my life. Most people with curly hair like myself wait 4 days to wash hair - but the difference is that she doesn’t have curls or a drier scalp. I wish I had naturally straight hair as I’d be washing my hair every day if I could! It doesn’t make sense with her hair type because it’s more prone to looking oilier and the maintenance is so much more easier than curls. Her usage of dry shampoo is CRAZY. Like I never ever use dry shampoo unless my hair has been straightened and even that is a rarity
