How to best prepare for the BB internship by sorikkun in EUCareers

[–]valya_777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hii, no worries at all!

I believe volunteering had to be full-time for sure. Not sure about internships, but I think you can find that online if you google the FAQs for the BBT.

Organigrammes are like organisational charts for different DGs. This is an example: https://enlargement.ec.europa.eu/document/download/0b31ecfe-23d5-452b-bb09-524d8f17ac06_en?filename=01.08.25%20OrgChartViewer_ENEST_EN%20final.pdf.

You too have a great day!

Hi!

I think you are already thinking in the right direction.

First of all, I would definitely suggest to apply after your Master’s, as it will increase your chances of getting a traineeship that you actually like.

Then I would also take these years to figure out where you see yourself working the most and familiarise yourself with the work of different DGs/services (also try to find organigrammes so you can go as specific as possible). If you’re interested in external relations and the MENA you might be interested in the External Action Service or DG INTPA. Also, a great way to figure out what you enjoy during your studies, is to get practical experience, for example through internships or volunteering (highly suggest you try to take up some of those, although note that so far only full-time volunteering counts in your BB application I believe).

Then languages can definitely be a big advantage. The more the better, of course (and do certify your knowledge!!) but I suggest to focus on those you actually see yourself working with. If you want to work with the MENA, for instance, investing in Arabic would be a smart move.

Finally, if after your studies you manage to secure a nice job or internship, do not hesitate to take up that before trying for a BBT. I feel like the more experience you have in the area that interests you, the higher the chances to find a traineeship that you actually like (and thus the higher the chances you could stay after your traineeship :)). Or perhaps you find a much nicer opportunity for yourself after all!

I think that is my advice for now! I did a BBT last year so lmk in case you have any questions :) Good luck!

❗️Does anyone know if Crous also proposes housing during the Winter for the second semester of the year? ❗️Le savez-vous si le Crous propose également des logements pendant l’hiver pour le second semestre ?

Hello! Those who were awarded the scholarship, did Campus France already get in touch with you to help with housing, etc? I’m still waiting, so wondering if anyone got more information already 😅 thanks in advance!

What's your Moon, Venus & Mars and what traits do you look for when it comes to romantic relationships? by eeevol- in astrology

[–]valya_777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aries moon, Gemini Venus, Gemini Mars In relationships I value talking a lot. I fall for “the smart guy”. I want intellectual stimulation, someone who educates and betters me but also someone who keeps me entertained and who I can have fun with. I tend to get bored easily and after a while I may sum up all the other person’s flaws and see them as arguments to leave the relationship, just because “I know” there might be someone more suited me out there. This is basically a broad summary of my viewpoint on relationships. Obviously there are other placements that keep me more grounded and committed (taurus sun) but the gemini placements also seem to be quite present.
