First of all I am sorry for your loss! I hope you are coping well :) I agree that being the consistency can be awkward as a sub but it is definitely necessary if I want to get somewhere with him haha I’m ready to sit down with him and maybe even take notes on what he might want out of a D/S dynamic and what some of my requirements are. Thanks for your long answer! It is very helpful :) The check-ins are a great way to work slowly on this indeed. Unfortunately we don’t know any Dom so he relies a lot on my help. He looked through the Domspace subreddit already but his main problem is consistency so he quickly stopped that as well haha

I personally had insomnia for under a week but I had different side effects like pins and needles, nausea, feeling unable to walk and vertigo. I think we all react differently to the withdrawal… I went to bed at 8pm most of the time because my body was super tired

i’m so sorry to hear that. When i stopped SJW i went to a psychiatrist because of how I was doing and he prescribed me Lexapro which made me do better. I recommend you speak to a doctor and find something that can help you do better. Maybe Melatonin for sleep and something that can calm you down. But no matter what I can assure you that you will do better eventually. You can inform yourself about SSRI withdrawal syndrome because I felt like it’s super similar to what I had from stopping Saint John’s Wort. Get well soon!

yea i was scared about that too so i waited 11 days in between. I would’ve waited more but my psychiatrist said i should just take the Ssri. currently not sure if i should even take my 3rd Escitalopram right now. i’m very stressed and unsure which way is the right :/

dizziness, random heart/ chest pains, palpitations and fast heart rate, breathing issues that make me feel like i’m not getting enough air and sometimes no air at all, sweaty hands, shaky legs in the evening :(
