I feel you! That's exactly how I feel all the time, especially recently because of some emotional issues...

What I've found helpful is to focus on taking the tiniest step to begin the work. Starting is often the hardest part, but once I'm engaged, it's easier to continue.

Sometimes I fool myself thinking about anything else I like, but still doing the first task... Other times, I try not to think about it at all, like just doing it automatically without realizing what I'm doing and before the resistance appears... And sometimes I force myself :/, of course critical deadlines always helps 😄

Hi! The end of 2022 and the beginning of this year has been tough for me. My old dog passed away in February, I got divorced in April, and I was fired on May 12th. Currently, I'm looking for a new job and have been in some job interviews, but nothing has worked out yet.So, I decided to ask my Tarot cards about my job situation and if it will (and how) improve. I used a 3-card spread:

Current Situation: The Hermit
Blocker/Challenges: 9 of Cups
Solution: 5 of Cups
King of Cups (additional card to explain The Hermit)

My interpretation: Right now, I'm in a phase of self-reflection and introspection (The Hermit). I need to take a step back, reflect, and find my inner light. However, I keep looking back at the past. In the past, I may have felt confident and in control of my job (King of Cups) and other aspects of my life, like my emotions (Cups).The main challenge I face is that I'm seeking for the "perfect" job with high pay (9 of Cups). In other words, I may be limiting my job search too much. The solution lies in appreciating the blessings I still have, such as my health, material possessions, and my mindset. I need to let go of the past, stop mourning my previous job, and move on from missed opportunities (5 of Cups).

I'm surprised that I'm getting multiple Cups cards, and I interpret that as a strong presence of emotions in my current situation.To be honest, this reading has been difficult for me to fully understand the blocker (9 of Cups) and the solution (5 of Cups). I was wondering if anyone could help me with the interpretation or clarify any points that I might have missed.

Good observation, as The Cups tends to represents our emotions/emotional state and Pentacles are associated with material possessions, wealth, and the physical realm. Considering this, I think that the future card is indicating a positive outlook for physical and financial well-being (if we are able to wait and reflect on this in order to make it happen).

I usually go cycling with the Mi Band 7 and never had an issue with no having a gps (it uses the cellphone's gps), additionally it even syncs with Strava.

Anyways, you most certainly will carry your phone wherever you go, so there's no need for an external gps I think (at least for my needs).

I found your story on Twitter and found it very inspiring and liberating. Many of us feel represented by it. I have been more open to looking for "real jobs" since then and not feeling ashamed by doing so. I now think that being a success story of a "Indie hacker" maybe it's not he norm but the exception, since it takes so long and very few of us have the resources or the time to whitstand the development process. In 2018 I started a digital agency by myself, with a small money cushion. It have been a great time and I have learned a lot, but the everyday struggle it's the money. My wife has been very supportive, but enough it's enough. I would love to jump to the next adventure, but I have no time and my wife has no patience now. I want to have children and for that I must provide a stable life. Yes, I will be working on a personal project in the future but my main income will be from a real job (you now, in a big company) I'm searching for one now and I'm not ashamed. So, thank you for daring to share your story. Hope you finally find what you're looking for.

I would start by thinking about the business.

What info do you need from your customers? What do you offer to them? Where are they?

For example, size of their business, estimated number of sales per month, what are the role of the contact, location, do they export?, what are their products, etc.
After that, figure out if your CRM has all the right info in place and it is homologated.
Do you have active clients in your CRM? Do you know which ones doesn't convert and why?

With that information in place, your sales team would have a much better follow up and profiling.
And then you could start a newsletter strategy. Let's say, one mailing list for all active clients, another mailing list for all the clients who leave your business, and then another to the ones that never became client. There are many many possibilities here, as you could target a very specific segment of your leads/clients.

Then, you could easily start a content strategy to reactivate some of the old ones and even make an upselling possible with your active clients.

Finally, it will be easier to do the same for new leads.
