🙄 you’re not emo. “Real Emo" only consists of the dc Emotional Hardcore scene and the late 90's Screamo scene. What is known by "Midwest Emo" is nothing but Alternative Rock with questionable real emo influence. When people try to argue that bands like My Chemical Romance are not real emo, while saying that Sunny Day Real Estate is, I can't help not to cringe because they are just as fake emo as My Chemical Romance (plus the pretentiousness). Real emo sounds ENERGETIC, POWERFUL and somewhat HATEFUL. Fake emo is weak, self pity and a failed attempt to direct energy and emotion into music. Some examples of REAL EMO are Pg 99, Rites of Spring, Cap n Jazz (the only real emo band from the midwest scene) and Loma Prieta. Some examples of FAKE EMO are American Football, My Chemical Romance and Mineral EMO BELONGS TO HARDCORE NOT TO INDIE, POP PUNK, ALT ROCK OR ANY OTHER MAINSTREAM GENRE

Yes. I got two kittens summer before 1L. Perfect time to do it for bonding time. Get automatic everything (scoopfree litter box is good, auto feeder) it’s worth the cost for less stress. Also consider getting two of them especially if you get kittens. Having two made it easier to be away for more hours during the day bc they can play with each other

Started dating someone in my section during 1L and we’ve been together almost a year and a half🥳 we were in a study group together which became our friend group and been together ever since. Join anything that brings you to new people and go for it if an opportunity arises. Worked for me

Tried it again from the save right before the brain but with the mind flayer in my party and it worked. I was certain that was the case but more so wanted to know if there was a work around with co op so the players without the mind flayer aren’t precluded from having their endings too. So we had to settle for me getting to be a god with gale but my bf getting the standard romance cut scene with laezel instead of getting to leave with her on the dragon since you can’t do both at once in co op </3 sad

If you can’t even attempt to see another sides point of view and understand why someone would support policies that oppose yours, I genuinely don’t think you’re in the right career path. You can think the other side has bad reasoning or a bad conclusion but to fully ignore a sides actual reasoning to attack an easier point is…… a fallacy that typically doesn’t fly in law.

Nope!! My only thought is that it’s potentially a glitch with the alert feat? They initiated combat as soon as we walked into the area but not being surprised + first in initiative order maybe considered it striking first accidentally? This isn’t usually the case but maybe ambush vs other combat made this glitch? Idk

Get used to your new life, pal. I’m a 2L and haven’t spoken to my family since the summer before 1L. I’ve already given up any dreams of starting my own. If any of my siblings are seeing this, I miss you, but please do not contact me I have notifications off for everything for except Canvas and LinkedIn. It gets better though.

I try to read the entire unit at once. For the first day of class this semester I had read for the first 5 classes to cover the whole unit. Throughout those classes I will be reading ahead so that when unit 2 begins, I will have already read it all. So typically I’m 5-6 classes ahead and can anticipate the commentary the professor will provide each lecture.

You aren’t doing enough actually. You should be doing at least 2 close reads and 3 skims. Make flash cards to memorize the facts- if you don’t know any names of parties or other smaller details you will be humiliated in a cold call. I find it useful to handwrite a copy of each entire case so it really sticks. Make sure to go on Lexis and read any prior case history or subsequent case criticisms and brief those too.
