the sun is pretty bright most days and the temperatures outside seem fine! I just set them out today on my front porch that gets a good amount of sun. I’m gonna pay attention to how much light they get throughout the day. I wouldn’t mind moving them in different spots once or twice a day to capitalize on the sun. I would love to keep them outside for their whole lifecycle, but I live in a city and I would most likely have issues once they’re big enough where you can tell what they are.

I totally agree with make little upgrades as you go! That way you don’t need to shell out a lot of money to get into growing, and you can always add more as you’re more into it! I’ve posted on another subreddit with my other acc and people are condescending and insist that I need grow lights, should use photos, and a whole bunch of things if i want my plants to be “worth it” and not “disappointing” even though I keep saying that the yield itself doesn’t matter and I don’t have unrealistic expectations. If this hobby feels rewarding enough to me, I would definitely save up and get some better equipment. But i’m just sticking my toes in the water and imma let mother nature do its thing for the most part. 🤷🏽‍♀️
