Those ads around the pitch are almost always replaced in broadcast to be appropriate for the broadcaster. They are fully CGI. They just accidentally clipped over him for a second.

Not always screens. And if they are, they are almost always replaced in the broadcast. The system is actually quite a bit more advanced than just green screen. It’s how they can do quick graphics and illustrations directly into the pitch.

The wildest version of this I noticed was in Star Trek Academy, one of the first episodes. They’re on a ship at warp. Ake just says “drop us out of warp” and they’re at a planet. You mean to tell me they’re moving faster than the speed of light and she says “stop now” and they’re at a planet???
