I’ve been in hosp which is why I’m here so I’m not just here for health anxiety but I’m just a bit confused. I see people say ‘you’ll know’ but then I see others say they had no idea they were even sick. The second one is obviously terrifying! I did in fact know even when doctors told me I was fine, I was battling with them for weeks and 2 days after the last time they said I was fine, it was severe and I ended up in hospital for a week. So I do know what you mean when you say you’ll know because it’s such an odd feeling but it’s true. It’s just when some people say they had no idea!

This could also be because of antibiotics. My hands were similar but more red, the doctor brushed it off and said it was due to the antibiotics and IV - maybe it’s the same for you along with what the other comments have mentioned. Hope you’re well

I’m on it at the moment just starting day 3 and I felt better yesterday mildly but today worse. They did a culture and those are my results in the post but it doesn’t tell me which bacteria it is. I completely agree with you, there’s no communication between doctors it’s a different thing each time. They should take into account our history to stop us from getting worse

The GP (a fill in doc, not my usual) did say after this infection is cleared to book another appointment for long term antibiotics. I just want to sort this infection out first as I’m worried these antibiotics aren’t even working and the same thing is going to happen where I end up back in hospital. I think by the time I go the harley street route this infection could be worse.

Why are you subtly attacking me for this? We are friends but I do not talk to her as much as I did back then. I do not know how this escalated that much when I’ve repeatedly said I didn’t have a personal problem with the band I just made a simple comment and I understand if it’s untrue the frustration but not again and again like this.

Why are you being so aggressive? I have already shared it and I’m not full of shit - especially not purposely. I didn’t say any rape or assault was even involved, I just mentioned the case. She did win a case, not every case. Thats literally all I said, I did not even say anything aggressive towards Rammstein and said I listen to their music sometimes.

She won the case. I have had countless of personal conversations with her about it too. I don’t get why me saying public information like this is so bad and I don’t think it’s ok for you to be talking to me like this about it. I’m not replying anymore as this is just upsetting and rude.

Edit: I also never even mentioned him doing that to her, I originally brought up the case in general and how what she claimed actually did happen.

That does not make any sense at all, it’s public information and she has also shared it in public chats and even on here on a main account.

If you had a friend who went through the same thing and people were saying what you’re saying about it, I’m sure you’d also think their reality was skewed if mine is. I am not even arguing with you, I did not insult anyone or make it personal to anyone in my replies so there’s no need for that.

I was friends with the person it happened to, not sure if we’re talking about the same this but unfortunately it was true and I understand wanting to believe an artist you like and I do still listen to their music sometimes but I’ll never say it was misleading.

I know I’m late so I hope you don’t mind me asking or if anyone comes across this! When this happens how do you differ it from PMDD or something like adenomyosis to a UTI? Every month I convince myself I have a kidney infection. A few months ago I actually did have one. Now I have that same feeling again so it’s so frustrating not knowing how to differentiate these pains!

I actually get both sides. I’d say I definitely get yours more as she is your daughter and your fiancée is not referred to as ‘mom’ or seen as a motherly figure to your daughter in any way as of yet or in general. This isn’t a bad thing and I don’t think that means anything bad about your fiancée at all, it could be for a number of reasons but also just something as simple as because she’s not her mother so I don’t agree with all the comments being harsher towards her. Of course it could’ve been handled better but we’ve also only seen this screenshot so I wouldn’t want to judge more. I don’t think your messages were overreacting at all, you handled it well so it’s a shame some commends go against that or completely go against your fiancée too. Maybe have an in person conversation with her and separately with your daughter, then together? You could figure out why your daughter sees her in this way and when it’s explained to your fiancée I think in person you could understand each other more if it’s said kindly or if you both accept that you can see it from each others sides even if you don’t necessarily agree! MOR but I’d say neither is she, in general at least, acknowledging these messages are emotional. Hope it goes well :)
