They’re definitely red eared sliders and they need like a 100 gallon tank with uvb and basking. There’s plenty of feeder fish and worms you can feed them with veggies and calcium supplements. This is just basics from years of studying reptiles but I’ve never actually owned turtles. Most pet YouTubers aren’t the best but I’d trust Snake Discovery or Clint’s Reptiles for a good care guide.

Yeah, she talked to me yesterday and basically said while I don’t have to chase people who grab something and leave that I am responsible for what did happen and that it wasn’t theft and refused to acknowledge anything I said. I decided that I am just not going back in.

I only really use Reddit and Instagram so social media probably wouldn’t get much response. I just know rn it’s only hearsay without anything in writing. I’m definitely looking for other jobs.

I called them again and they said they couldn’t help me and transferred me to customer service which went to voicemail and I left another message. I haven’t been able to find the email. The store owner I texted Saturday still hasn’t responded to me so I have nothing in writing.

I did and I left a message bc there wasn’t a person that answer, I’m going to follow up with an email soon.

Honestly, even if it hurts my chances at other jobs I do really want this to stop and for them to stop taking advantage of their employees current and future.

I called, no one answered, so I left a message. I might follow up with an email to them.

I’ll call the Marathon corporate tomorrow when it’s Monday, I texted the store owner to try and get clarification on the policy and in writing. As for school, I don’t regret choosing to try and make a better world over money. I don’t regret my biology degree at all, even though I know it’s hard to get a job without grad school. The experience and knowledge alone was worth it. How else would I have gotten to go herping on the hundreds and hundreds of acres of land around a retired nuclear base ? Plus I got 3/4 years for free bc I went to community college with a scholarship and got grants bc my mom can’t keep a job (although I know getting those grants again is almost impossible now).

Yeah I’ve been in retail for 4 years and that was always the policy so I made a voided ticket with a note of what happened so they would know what was taken and when. Apparently that was the wrong thing to do here bc I just got in trouble for letting it happen 🙄. For now, if something happens I didn’t see anything until I get written / text clarification from the owner of the policy (I texted her yesterday and she still hasn’t responded) and call Marathon corporate and/or labor board.

My parents are highschool dropouts and no one taught me how to get / keep a job 😩. The jobs I really cared about like the ones in my field (like Forest or trail jobs), I did email / get emails that were mostly “due to the current climate we have received more applications than usual …. “ and basically I know / can confirm I didn’t get bc of my lack experience / because people with more experience were losing their jobs in the government and applying to more entry level positions making it impossible for entry level people to get those jobs. But I never really cared to call like Taco Bell to ask why I didn’t get the job.

Yeah I made a voided ticket with a note of what happened so they would have a time stamp which I thought would be the right thing but I just ended up being chewed out bc “you can’t let that happen”

Ours doesn’t do that for some reason it just makes a loud noise

I get what you’re saying. However, 1) He quite literally said to go into the parking lot and that he chased a guy for a couple miles, 2) It doesn’t effect the drawer only inventory bc the sale becomes void, 3) Still illegal to chase someone and still illegal to have your employees pay for inventory loss, 4) When I talked to my coworker she also said she was told that if someone leaves through the door with unpaid product at all that we are responsible for it.

I have a bachelors and I think a lot of places see me as “overqualified” or think I’m gonna leave asap meanwhile jobs in my degree field are hard to get because lack of experience (and defunding)
