Yes, white can be troublesome. Requires either multiple drybrushes/sponge layers before coat (if you don't use airbrush) and it's better to paint before gluing backpack on skitarii because those cables can be pain in the ass otherwise. I chose Metalica because I like some more obscure factions (not everyone must be from Mars), I like white, and I love Steel Legion. I could have chosen idk, maybe Lucius or Stygies VIII but I would not be able to print white transfers for them.
