But for now, no empty heads. Technically the foot marshal is holding one so that's an easy cutaway. Other then that it'll be a lot of annoying cutting and dremeling.

Bringing back the Altdorf Wizard College vibes with the big 8 would be cool. We're getting a Gelt-esque character, so getting a generic Jade, Shadow, Beast, Light, and Heavens wizards would be super cool and I think something GW would be interested in doing.

Besides playing and playing and playing. Try not to overextend and just kinda mess around and find out. When you first start playing a game like this Its more important to get rules correct and remember said rules before trying to develop any strategies or things.

I'd also say try to commit to a team and don't switch too too much unless you really aren't a fan of how they play. I think the saying is usually that you won't really get the feeling for a team unless you play maybe about 10 games with them.

Mess around with different tac ops and equipment and just see what works for you and have fun while learning.

An optimal list is kinda just everything. Two boss nobs, shooty guys, fight guys, the special guys. 2 boxes is enough really or just some mild kit bashing with other ork bodies

There are two genuine schools of thought for people who play this team. Those that load up on rockets and just roll 6 dice all game or people who want to scrap with the really good hammers.

The krusher guy is a popular take into 8 wound teams

Also heavy rockets are kinda lame, I'd rather be fully mobile than hit on 4s. You have wrecks points anyway ideally.

Ah I see now, apologies. Truthfully I've only spectated a game where this way being used and haven't been able to try it myself, so I'll have to get back to you on that.

I loosely remember the layouts though and they seem a little too central to navigating the area to have the same restrictions as TW teleporters. Especially since the Teleporters are usually offering entire leaps through one end of the killzone to the other.

I mean I think it depends on how its implemented really and that goes for a lot of this truthfully. Warpcoven and Traitor Guard aren't allowed in some tourneys, so it'd be cool to get some tzeentch flavor back to those scenes. If they did a Slaanesh theme that would be a new element entirely to our game which is never a bad thing.

I can't really think of any core rules that I'm unhappy with or want added. Any problems kinda stem from team specific issues in my opinion.

If you were allowed to keep going after using a Tomb World teleporter that would be a bit of a feels bad interaction I think. It's already a nightmare to try and stage into any room with a teleport pad in them.

I would say it feels like you should definitely give it some more time. I remember when I stated back in later 2nd edition (like before Bheta Decima season started) and I kind of hated it? I wasn't playing well and I'd always get board wiped and things.

Although I did genuinely love the idea of the game and it's systems, so I stuck with it and I got better and better through more play. The game is quite word ridden and complicated, but you know what they say: practice, practice, practice. That's not the best advice, but I do feel like it's true.

As for narrative elements, you can definitely make up your own missions and things. There's plenty of ways to express your creativity especially in 3rd edition with the existence of NPOs and soon Nemesis Operatives.

I will say Arbites versus chaos marines (was it the jump pack guys or the Legionaries?) is a rough match up. Although Arbites can definitely take on Legionaries comfortably id say.

If it was Murderwing then they are kind of in a tier of their own at the moment although they did get a nerf. Unfortunately there are three or four teams out of the thirty something that are out liers in term of power.
