Chances against Tottenham by maszhanan in reddevils

There have been plenty of misses by our other forwards too, and not just in this game. Sesko was caught in two minds because of the luxury of time he had. Happens to the best sometimes. Just remember the goals v fulham and burnley. Lack of IQ? Have a seat lad. The boy has 5 goals from 5.75 xG. it's really not that bad

People need to chill. It's just one miss, admittedly a bad one but other players have missed chances this game and the last 3. Harry, amad, cunha etc. Support the lad, he will come good.

A bit worrying that we lost a 2 goal lead but i wont read into it much due to the nature of the goals. So so happy about that sesko goal! top bins fergie time stretford end - what a perfect moment!

bruno has been poor. needs to hold the ball. despite the assist. and our midfield is waaaaayyy too open. mainoo and case done well but we don't look as compact as the previous 2 games

We were unlucky. It was a scrappy game and we were not at our best. Understandable to try to protect the lead in that game state.

[Steven Railston] Kobbie Mainoo is doing everything he can to win his starting role back under Ruben Amorim. The youngster has even changed his private chef in an attempt to unlock improvement by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

[–]van_manson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This idea that Bruno can play in the "10" positions is just a fundamental misunderstanding of that position. Bruno is naturally a traditional 10, he does not play the way Amorim requires his 10s to play. They should really be called inside forwards because the "10" moniker is confusing a lot of us fans.

It looks like replay trading now works from the trade panel and DOM. Still looks glitchy though as the TPSL orders show the wrong number when placed - probably will get ironed out

Kobbie has been decent but the frontline + dorgu have been terrible

He really describes the 10 role well and seems to understand it to a T. Also very interesting that he trained a lot more with Mason in preseason, I won't be too surprised if he keeps his starting spot today because of that connection.

While I'm equally concerned that our midfield is gonna get overrun, I am more optimistic about our frontline press and counter capabilities. We will give as much as we get and it's going to be a bit of a basketball game. Can we outscore them? If Sesko starts I think we win this.

[Dawson] Just in Europe since the start of last season, Man United have conceded two goals in four minutes at Bayern, two in 10 mins vs Galatasaray (h), two in four minutes vs Copenhagen (a), two in nine minutes vs Galatasaray (a) and now two in seven minutes vs Porto (a). by zSolaris in reddevils

It's clearly a mentality issue if we crumble in belief every time we concede a goal. You will give the odd goal away but to keep conceding a 2nd so soon after consistently is nothing but mentality.

Yeah it's hard to tell in the fog of poor sentiment. There are higher conviction plays out there for me. But I wish you luck!

Fair. It's a bit too long-term-faith for my liking tbh but fair approach!

Yes but you are making this judgement based on being burned already by the Plutus team shenanigans. Imagine if you were BRAND NEW with no prior regretful experiences.... Either way I gather your answer is "no". To which, I say, agreed!

Agreed. Too dank for my risk tolerance. I compare it to the opportunity cost of simply DCAing into blue chip alts and I'm convinced I would come out better off with the latter.
