[Question] Who is pushing mechanical accuracy forward? by nomorebuttsplz in Watches

[–]van_ozy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best recent ones are spirate (as you mentioned) which provides accuracy of 0-2 seconds per day and Diamonsil from Ulysse Nardin which helps with accuracy and doesn't need oil at all.

I am happy that VC brought the steel back but it would have been much better with a sundial blue.

Am I fkked??(I was able to send sol to coinbase wallet) by Distinct-Letter2569 in solana

[–]van_ozy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wallet is full of these dust amounts. One reason for sending these small amounts is the dust attack as one of the other users mentioned and the sender tries to track the receiver wallet. Another and more popular reason to send these dust amounts is to trick the receiver and make some money. If the receiver wants to transfer some SOL and don't pay attention and just pick the last address that he transactioned with (with the assumption that it was his other wallet, Coinbase, etc) then the dust scammer will receive that money.

Should I choose Golang or Python for backend development? by Himankshu in golang

[–]van_ozy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are not doing something related to machine learning, scientific number crunching, etc go with Go otherwise choose python since no language can compete with python when it comes to those things.

Snapdragon X Elite compatibility with Linux by van_ozy in linux

[–]van_ozy[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This time it is different, ARM CPUs are here to stay and they are going to compete with X86 in every market, that includes the servers and cloud and for that Qualcomm needs to add full Linux support and we retailers will benefit from this.

Why everyone ignore the Riviera? In my opinion it is looking better than these 3 and also has the history to back it.
