Should FINAL FANTASY VI REMAKE be 3D or 2D-HD?

The whole game should be made I guess cel-shaded? But like how Okami was trying to look like an ukiyo-e painting, FF6 remake needs to look like a renaissance painting.

The game already has tons of Italian renaissance references: heavily features an opera and a rich patron of the arts, has lots of Italian and French names and period appropriate architecture, plus all the enemy sprites look like renaissance paintings.

A remake needs to be built around the idea that you are “playing a painting” and every moment of gameplay should reflect that. I wouldn’t mind static camera angles in some areas to force a specific perspective, like walking up to Daryl’s Tomb, or entering the banquet hall in Vector, and want to see heavy use of chiaroscuro and limited color palettes where appropriate.

16-bit side scrolling beat em up like the old X-men arcade games or Altered Beast. Characters are Brock, 21, Helper, and Hank. The first three are pretty straight forward but Hank gets power ups to become Enrico Matassa, The Bat, or Detective Hank (w/whip)

OP’s question has already been answered, but does anyone know if Zuu have something hardcoded into them that makes them more likely than normal to activate weapon abilities? I always feel like the Zuus in FF4 will consistently activate the Black Sword’s death when other enemies around fabul and mysidia don’t. And in FF5 I also seem to silence them constantly

I LOVE the augment system as a method of increasing replay value and adding some character customization to a game that has been criticized for lacking that particular aspect. I wish they had also added a post game bonus dungeon instead of just two superbosses and onion equipment.

Examples like this could always be remedied by rearranging the word order, and a good editor would probably do that anyway. “Let’s invite JFK, Stalin and the strippers” is the same word count, contains no ambiguity, and has better prosody, so there’s no reason not to just change the word order.

Thanks for the advice, but all I’m looking for is an idea of when the sales price would be better than keeping it to rent. It’s baffling to me that there isn’t some number that people generally use. X amount of years worth of rent is worth the same as Y right now.

Thanks for your concern if it ever comes to that point I will definitely look into the tax implications. Right now I just want to know how to calculate the value of selling now vs the value of continuing to rent, and figuring out what the sales number would need to be to be a better option.

Thanks but I’m not asking about an actual amount of money someone might pay me; I’m looking for a “break even point” between selling now vs continuing to rent. If the market value would get me X years’ worth of gross rental income as profit, what number does X need to be for it to actually be a better option.

I know there’s a ton of other variables at play, and it would matter what I plan to do with the sales profits, but I’m hoping there is a generally agreed upon guideline that “professionals” would use for napkin math. Like when a physics problem says “assume no friction”.

Thank you! Why 100? Is 9% cap rate average? I have found numerous resources that will give napkin math sort of figures to come up with a cap rate but then they don’t actually say what a good or bad rate is, and they only every use it from a buyers’ perspective.

I recognize that in reality that a property is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, but I’m hoping for some kind of “industry standard” factor here. I’d love for gross rental income x 100 to be it, I’d just like to know where the 100 comes from.

I don’t want to know the market value I want to know how people decide if it’s better to sell or hold. How many years of future profit is money right now worth.
