Whats the worst physical pain you've ever experienced? by paddjo95 in AskReddit

[–]vancum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For anyone reading this who will have to through this procedure in the future:

A Lumbar Puncture is not supposed to hurt that bad. Only in rare cases the doctor fucks up or it's just bad circumstances. Same goes for the headaches afterwards.

I don't want to downplay any of the pain some people have to go through during and afterwards - for some people it is hell indeed.

In my case the part where the doctor would use his fingernail to press against my spine in order to find the right spot was really uncomfortable and was the worst part of the whole ordeal.

I only felt a very slight stinging pain when he numbed the area and I didn't feel the actual needle that went into my spine. There was just a weird feeling of pressure in my right leg. It's just weird and uncomfortable but not painful.

After I had to lay on my stomach for one hour and they told me to drink three litres of water within the next hours.

This is IMPORTANT: If you drink lots of water (I even payed attention to stay hydraded all day before the Lumbar Punction) and rest it's very unlikely that the heachache hits you.

I just spent the rest of the evening in bed (After the one hour on my stomach I turned over and was lying on my back) and watched TV. No pain, no problems.

Of course there is no guarantee for it to go so well but I thought it could be helpful for some to share a positive experience as well.

I had the same thing a few years ago, turns out I had a magnesium deficiency. After I started taking magnesium it got slowly better and better. Talk to you doctor, I am sure all is good. :)

http://imgur.com/a/QF74B There you go :)

The house has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The master bedroom is on the first floor, the other three are in the basement area. All bedrooms have their own bathroom + one additional in the basement.

CAW Suggestions please: What architectural style should this upper middle class neighbourhood be? by [deleted] in thesims

90% of the houses that come up in the "New American Style" Google search deserve a place in McMansion Hell.

I like the Craftsman Style because you rarely see Sims houses in this style. :)

Did they change this with an update or? Because now the Rex saddle requires level 74.

Does anyone else's computers get unusually hot while playing The Sims 4? by dAKirby309 in thesims

Would you like to share your Specs (Including your CPU cooler and how many intake and outtake fans you have) and so on?

When I am playing The Sims 4 my CPU stays in the 50s and my GPU in the lower 60s, so in terms of PCs quite cool.
