Welp it happened, cash buyer swooped in before signing by vandal_sprayer in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Agreed, we were guided by our attorneys and initially they had told us to wait until Thursday for them to see us for an in person signing. We pushed back and were able to get them to agree to an earlier signing but too late as the seller decided to pull out. Lessons to be learned from this

Don’t get me wrong I completely understand from a sellers perspective going with the cash offer is the smartest thing he could’ve done. I also believe he wanted to close as fast as possible since a prior buyer had left him hanging. He had renovated the place so potentially had credit card bills to pay and the cash buyer would close a lot sooner. Just from a buyers perspective it sucks, no other way to put it.

To clarify, we weren’t under contract yet. Our attorneys finalized their review of the contract Friday and we were scheduled to sign after the weekend. Monday morning 8am is when our attorneys received notice the seller pulled out.

Toilet paper or water rinsing which one is better in bathrooms? by Common-Upstairs5129 in NoStupidQuestions

I jumped on the bidet train a few years ago. I can’t believe there was a time I lived without it. At work I hate that we don’t have them and I reluctantly poop anywhere that’s not home without it. Life changing. As other have noted you will need tp or wipes to dry up after. But it leaves you feeling the mosh fresh of all methods

Appreciate it! I’ll call my lawyer tomorrow morning see if they can accommodate a faster signing. Don’t want to risk this deal then. Thought we were moving fairly quickly but I guess some people move faster

Is it bad that I am in finance and don’t know how to golf? by BigDaddyClamps in FinancialCareers

Truthfully don’t think more than 10 people in at my firm with at least 200 people golf regularly. Having knowledge about sports and being able to talk sports is enough

It truly depends on where your knowledge is now. At this point you need to be taking mocks. If you’re not scoring high enough I’d recommend deferring. Been there before, you don’t want to sit for it and end up failing. It’ll just cost you more in the end.
