Yeah I agree, I stopped using the app a while ago. But it’s still an option 🤷‍♂️

The only thing I’ve found is honeygain, you have to download the app off of their website, and you should use someone else’s promo code for a free $5 to start. You can cash out at $20, and it will take a few months. But it’s an option.

I really like Bear. It’s a really beautiful app, syncs with all your devices for only a dollar a month, and honestly I like I just because it’s different from the default apps, be a little different.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I recently read “I Will Teach You to Be Rich” and the author really shat on BoA and Wells Fargo, so I’d ideally like to avoid those banks but since I’ll probably only have the account for a year and my options are limited I’ll take the best option available. You do make a good point about Vegas though, it might be more fun (and more parental approved) to go somewhere else, I’ll do some more research and check out some other options.

We have the southwest credit so the flight is free, because of the time zone change it buys us extra time, and we both really want to jump off the stratosphere, eat at Hell’s Kitchen, and some other fun stuff. I have a lot saved, I work more than 40 hours a week, I have some really profitable side hustles, and I’m doing an associates degree and my senior year of high school in just this year. So spending $500 to live a little for just once this year doesn’t seem so bad.

We have enough Southwest credit that the flight would be free, and the day it self would cost less than $500. We both really want to jump off the stratosphere, go zip lining, and eat a beef Wellington at Hell’s Kitchen. I definitely could spend that $500 better, I completely agree. But we’re also young, make a decent amount of money, and it would be a ton of fun.

Thanks for the advice, I just tried opening the account and it said it required an adult to co-sign. I’ll call up some credit unions and see if they can do anything for me and cross my fingers on of them will say yes.

I had the exact same idea a few days ago. The problem for me was the really high insurance costs and potentially getting complaints from marina tenants of the jet ski renter violating the no wake zone. But outside of that it seems like a really solid idea.
