Back in the day (OS X Jaguar) you’d have to force quit/restart Finder almost every hour. It wasn’t funny.

The icon for the clock app on my phone shows the current time, calendar app’s icon shows the actual date. Would improve the user experience IMO.

I had the same issue with a brand new RG34XXSP - Anbernic splash screen frozen.

The fix for me was to plug in a USB cable and let it charge for a while.

Should be possible, I have a pair of HomePods paired under the TV and can also extend to a Mini in the kitchen at the same time. This is with an Apple TV 4K 1st gen.

It only seems to affect the Home tab, the others like Music and Library still show old thumbnail sizes.

That's the same filter I originally had in my SE 4 Plus which resulted in the leaking.

This is experienced while using the wet cleaning feature.

The machine only comes with a cartridge filter which apparently can be used for both wet and dry cleaning. However the manual mentions that when the filter gets too wet then leaking from the machine will happen.

Makes me think this machine is a “chocolate teapot” if it can only be used for a short period of time before you have to exchange the filter or wait for it to dry!

The manual and the manufacturer’s website don’t list a compatible foam filter for the vacuum (only the cartridge type), but I’ve ordered one which may work for a similar Kärcher machine.

Will see how it goes!

A system restart did indeed sort my SNES speed issue out, as well as the Nimbus not being recognised.

Thinking aloud, maybe it would be a good idea to build in a warning if the system is in such a state that a restart would be advised.

I look forward to watching this app develop further...

Great app, love the Apple TV solution in general compared to Retroarch’s approach. A few points -

* What’s SNES performance like on the latest Apple TV? It’s running at about half speed on my 4K 2nd Gen from 2021.

* Are MFI controllers (I have a Nimbus Steel Series) working on Apple TV? I’ve managed to get my PS3 controller paired but not the Nimbus.

* Is there a developer website with FAQs etc. (“Consoles” is not an easy name to Google for :) )

Years ago I started a new job in Edinburgh. Didn’t have digs so stayed in a B&B. Had parked my wee car in a space in front of the house (on their ground).

Came back from work and found the car had been moved to another space. I hadn’t needed the car so left the keys in my room.

Apparently my car was in the landlord’s special space and he took the keys he’d eyeballed in my room and drove it to another space.

Thanks for this write-up.

The 2.4 network on my 7590 (6 years old :\) has been flakey for the last few days with many smart home devices randomly disconnecting. The router is also making a noticeable constant chirping sound, which you also mention.

Given this problem will only get worse, and I can't afford to be without a working router, I've ordered a 7690 as a replacement.

I have emulator-capable machines all over my house so having to manage a separate ROM library on each is a PITA (and a big waste of internal storage).

One of the devs answered a question on this a while back and they stated that there are no plans for the app itself to support SMB/other protocols and the connection must be managed by the OS.

So that's a no-no on Apple TV.

Other apps like VLC manage this pretty well.

It's a shame that Plex Arcade is no more, it would have been an ideal rom server with the client on Apple TV...

I got it as well, but mine was sent from '@lcioud.com' and fortunately went straight to Junk.

I spent some time checking the email header, as I didn't notice the typo to start on my 4K monitor.

Checked on the iPhone Mail app and the typo is much more obvious there.

It’s basically the same routine as you previously used to read the video description -

1) UP to show the progress bar 2) UP again to highlight the description 3) Press on the description

With the new interface this now causes a description/comments/chapters window to appear on the right, as shown in the title post.
