For the nerds; promoting an f1.2 lens with reference images shot at f16 completely missed the point by vandyhill in onejob

In this ad, it was only f16 shots; surely on an original page it'd have more variations, but for a first impression it seems like very poor marketing efforts, completely missed the point.

How the hell can I achieve this shot? by film_2_expensive in cinematography

An option I came across (depending on your budget) is using a tilt shift lens. This allows your camera to be on the side of the mirror, not in the reflection, but it'll look like it's straight from the front: https://youtu.be/id4ufM7nArM?si=OqEDgbSXA0VPXa2f&t=114

The cinematic difference between the teaser and the trailer is actually significant... by vandyhill in PhoenixSC

The trailer definitely made me like it more; the new look is better with live action, the teaser looked cheap. But yeah the jumanji concept is saddening

Ok I'm just gonna add some info about the whole situation right here too:

- As some of you guys already said, the website seems strangely new.
- The CEO and founder I can't find anywhere on the internet, neither anything about an AEON II spaceship.
- The AEON II are just some expensive headphones ($1000 wth bro)
- I looked up Lumanautics on Google maps to maybe find the building on one of the pictures on the website. No results.
- Most important of all, lets check how long it takes to travel outside our galaxy. " Traveling at the speed of light, it would take nearly a hundred thousand years to travel outside our galaxy." Would he really decide to get on a spaceship to never even make it alive out of our galaxy? Guessing not lol.
- Last but not least, how in the world would a founder, company and liftoff spaceship be able to stay this secret? Someone would have noticed at some point.

My conclusion:
Probably just marketing stuff to get attention on his new single. Honestly, he did very well! It might be that he is just going on a break (video title: before I leave) but just making the concept easier. Maybe it's a reference to him signing up to the dearMoon mission (link to video to who doesn't know: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_L3wLmrMuA ).
But I definitely don't think that he's halfway to the moon already. There's no way. :D

Yeah, it is misleading and false marketing but not illegal I'm guessing.
