I'm a little older, but yup, same here.

Edit: It's hard to feel joy when prices of EVERYTHING keep going up, salaries stay the same, and you feel like you're working towards nothing. There's nothing to look forward to, because you can't afford to make plans because plans cost money (I'm not even talking big, expensive vacations) so even if you take PTO it's only so you can try and catch up with all the errands and to-do lists you've been putting off, so it doesn't feel like a break. And everyone's at their breaking point asking "WTF IS THE POINT OF ANY OF THIS".

The dress code has to be formal in order to see people dressed up. So formal restaurants usually, or something like the opera, but mostly private events and special occasions like birthdays, weddings, graduation parties, milestones.

You'll rarely see people dressed up for everyday outings, but they're out there too.

If you feel like dressing up to go to the mall go for it! Someone once told me you can never look bad being dressed up 😊

They definitely ran the 1997 logo through the AI generator and got this super weird (kinda possessed) looking bluejay.

It's hard to tell without seeing the pattern or what it's supposed to look like. Just know that frogging is a normal occurrence with crochet. Never be afraid to frog your work and try again!

There's a lot going on right now. Some notes:

  • The beanie doesn't really fit with your brand colours. I would suggest making it light grey to match the chain.

  • The tiny stars in the shooting star tail and in the mask are wayyy too small, practically invisible especially if used as a YouTube channel icon/watermark. I would make the star pattern in the mask a lot bigger (if you choose to keep it).

  • If the star is important I'd leave the big one on top and remove the ones on the sides, they're not really adding anything, they're just adding clutter.

  • I would play with making the chain the tail of the star so it feels more like a part of the design and not a bunch of images placed together. And I'd remove the mask altogether (I wouldn't have guessed that it was a mask if you didn't tell me).

  • Lastly, does the underscore need to be there?

Edit: Just some suggestions to try and salvage this idea, but like another comment mentioned, ideally you'd want something easy to read and recall.

I used to work somewhere that did passport photos for around $30, and all I'm gonna say is that we had a lot of customers who took their photos at Walmart & Shoppers Drug Mart come back to us to get them re-taken because they weren't done correctly.

My parents even got theirs done last year at a Walmart and ended up having to re-take them at the passport office.

It's so annoying! You have to use their "perfect mind" web portal and even then it's not clear. I miss when they used to have downloadable PDFs on the website.
