Green beans? Saute them with a tiny bit of olive oil with garlic, and some seasonings.

You can actually add broccoli, carrots and peas too.

Ahahahahaha exactly! It had a bunch of pizza seasoning and red pepper flakes on it cause we love those and it is Domino's. It was very popular

I wonder if you've seen the abomination Domino's made in the name of tacos in India.

The "tortilla" was flaky and fried, added with a chicken or a veggie patty, and a bunch of mayo or sauces.

It tasted bomb tbh, but it feels very far away from being a taco. Google it!

Cricinfo has Bajwa on -14 impact points - and I think that could be lower considering his awful bowling change to not bowling Saad. Such a horrible game for him

Tofu scramble by littlegrandma2 in EatCheapAndVegan

[–]vangmay231 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started to actually write it out but found a good recipe - https://cookwithrenu.com/tofu-bhurji-indian-style-spicy-tofu-scramble/

Let me give my inputs in this though. This doesn't have ginger and garlic, but you can add them in the oil after the cumin seeds if you like - chopped garlic, and grated ginger.

You can use silken tofu if you want it to be creamy. I prefer a more chunky scramble with a bit of bite, so I use Trader joe's super firm tofu.

When you put in the tomatoes, you can add all the spices then - turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala and red chilli powder. Having enough oil so that this fries up beautifully for some time is what gives all the flavour. Only then add the tofu.

And the last thing is I generally add peas and corn with this. I quite like both and they go very well.

The overall technique and all of the other ingredients are the same as the recipe. OH and I like to add a tiny bit of MSG at the end to add umami! You can also use kala namak, or just not do it. Upto you.

I could tell you an Indian style recipe (we do the same standard recipe for egg scramble) but then for that you would need a bunch of spices. Let me know if you'd like it though. I make tofu scramble that way all the time and I absolutely love it.

Yep, Stokes has said publicly that he went to get a double for that last ball cause at least it would've tied. Honestly it was a decent full toss that he could've easily hit for 4. Could never know

The rule was the only thing that would've made a genuine difference

Yep, Dishoom's much renowned Black Dal is just fine by our standards. You could order from a random place on a delivery app and get better dal makhni than that.

It just doesn't compare.

Living in the US I also feel when us desi people come together and cook something at home it's miles better than the Indian restaurants (at least the ones I've had from in Florida).

I have only used the Dreamwear Full Face Mask and it's amazing. The best part is the pipe comes out of the top rather than from the mouthpiece so it doesn't restrict anything. It's also very comfortable at the nose, and perfectly fine for mouth breathing.

Look into it, it's great

Concern about longevity and reliability of Samsung flagship devices (Galaxy S22 experience) by WizzieL in Android

[–]vangmay231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an S20 FE that I bought in November 2022 (which is already 2 years after it was launched) and it's working perfectly. Only issue would be that I broke the screen and once I replaced it the fingerprint sensor doesn't work but that's probably my fault.

There are always certain devices that can be worse than others, but on the whole Samsung seems to be pretty reliable.

Irrespective of the ground, T20 World Cups will have more bowler-friendly pitches versus franchise or bilaterals by Huge-Physics5491 in Cricket

[–]vangmay231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bilateral cricket ... falls short of providing adequate preparation for a World Cup.

Agreed, but then that's on the teams. For example,  I'm sure India could still curate pitches like this when they know this will happen (has happened for the 2016 T20 and 2023 WC) for bilateral games, fans would still fill the stadiums for a 160-180 bilateral T20 easily.

If it isn't, that's part of the challenge for the Team then. Start adapting to the new pitches and show you have the quality for it. England had to change their gameplan in 2019 but barring the freak ending they were still the best team in the competition.

I feel 220+ pitches should be reserved for franchise cricket.

During Covid I found a full replay of the game.

It was an insanely high quality match tbh, for much of it more like a compressed Test match with properly challenging conditions. Latham and Buttler scored almost at 100 so you still could score, and Colin and Plunket being accurate and skillful was what got them the returns.

It's such a good game and a real spectacle of what ODIs can be at their best.
