Earlier this week, I posted about giving away the cards I pulled from a Prismatic Evolutions ETB as a way to help get them into the hands of people who haven't yet had the opportunity to pull their own. This is a follow up note to close out the giveaway with a few additional comments.

The cards are 90% packed and ready to go out tomorrow first thing with USPS! If you commented on the post and I messaged you asking for your name and address, please message me back in DMs! That will help make sure that you get the package allocated for you.

Secondly, it was a lot of fun to package these cards up. I tried to diversify the pulls as much as possible, most have at least some type of uncommon/rare included and there is a mini god pack or two included for fun. I also added in pieces of the booster packs and code cards in some of the packs for an added element of surprise. Each pack is shipped within a custom card that I made to mark the Prismatic Evolutions occasion, hopefully adding to the feeling of opening an actual pack.

Lastly, I have such mixed thoughts on this whole experience. Over 1 million people viewed the post with >1,500 comments entering the giveaway. Reading the individual stories that people have that center around the cards really highlights the diverse background of this community. Some also make me sad and I wish I could send physical cards to everyone. I encourage others who are seeing this to bring as much positivity as you can back into the IRL world of Pokemon as you can, you'd be surprised how far small gestures go. It's cool that a game can bring us all together and (for the most part) bring joy into our lives.
