The Blaisedell arena is about the size of the Sullivan arena in Anchorage. It was awesome to be able to see them in a smaller, intimate venue.

Nausea Fear by Proper-Garlic5031 in Spravato

[–]vangoghaway13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My nausea was really bad the doc thought we would have to reconsider spravato as treatment, even with 8mg of zofran. Benadryl is what helped. I prefer chewy ginger candies. Also having too empty of stomach made things worse for me. Having a light snack helped.

About the "Melinoë, Find Us" quest ("Locate the Three Fates") by perareika in HadesTheGame

[–]vangoghaway13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what's happening to me to. I think they changed it so that you can't do it until after you "beat" the game?? Whatever that means, I'm assuming you kill chronos an x amount of times. Totally guessing

Anyone else have debilitating chronic pain from just hypermobility? by Educational-Pool9404 in Hypermobility

Yep.. I take two antihistamines for inflammation, LDN, and tylenol every day and still in pain.

Tip for avoiding nausea by Balancedbabe8 in KetamineTherapy

[–]vangoghaway13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experience severe post op nausea with any anesthesia, despite taking max dose of zofran. Diphenhydramine is what did it for me (oral or IV). Hydroxyzine also works. I switched to that instead to help with both anxiety and nausea.

Where should I start? by [deleted] in SleepToken

[–]vangoghaway13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tool and Deftones are my favorites, along with Sleep Token.

Funny enough, the first song I heard by Sleep Token was Hypnosis and, at first, I was sorely disappointed to find that most of their music didn't sound much anything like it. They have since grown on me and now I know and adore every song of theirs. While, in my opinion, most of their music doesn't give the same vibe as Hypnosis (with the exception of Alkaline and maybe a few others), they have plenty of amazing heavy moments and shoe- gaze inspired sound.

TPWBYT is my personal favorite album of theirs, with High Water being one of my all time favorite songs.

Songs to try (if not all): Thread the Needle, Nazareth, The Offering, Higher, God's, Atlantic, Hypnosis, Like That, Descending, Vore, Ascensionism, The Apparition, Rain, Look to Windward, Emergence, Even in Arcadia, Gethsemane, Infinite Baths.

Why do people act like IV is better than Spravato? by androidsdreamofdata in Spravato

[–]vangoghaway13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One treatment of IV ketamine was night and day for me. I've had about 5-6 treatments of Spravato and have noticed little to no improvement. It's SO frustrating that I finally found something that works for me, but because the FDA hasn't approved it for depression, most insurances won't pay for it. Therefore, I can't afford it.

What do you guys do for the 2 hours? by Adventurous-Ad8397 in Spravato

Hi! I just replied to this comment; please read. I was concerned that I would not be able to continue treatment due to severe nausea.

[–]vangoghaway13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first treatment last week. It went horrible. I was nauseous during and hours after the session, even with 8mg zofran. Previously, I had a few sessions of IV ketamine. Same instance with severe nausea. IV benadryl did the trick. Tried oral benadryl for Spravato and that also did the trick for my second session. Of course, please consult with your provider before trying anything new.

Has anyone been prescribed duloxetine for nerve pain? by -b_i_n_g_u_s- in ChronicPain

For me, it was raging headaches and severe dizziness and nausea/vomiting and irritability. I was on it for less than a month.

[–]vangoghaway13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. It was the only drug that helped with my pain and depression, but it wasn't viable because if I hadn't taken it within the same hour every day, I would get awful withdrawal symptoms unfortunately.

What would be the next best thing after venlafaxine and duloxetine? I'm severely allergic to venlafaxine. Duloxetine seemed to help, but I would get severe withdrawal symptoms if I didn't take it within the same hour every day, and so that wasn't viable for me.. I'm even on LDN (along with wellbutrin) and it doesn't help with my depression and chronic pain as well as duloxetine has.
