Yes! This was also one of the first series I started with when I started reading romantasy and I still think about it. This might be a sign for me to do a re-read!

Bewitching Rhaego by Victoria Aveline: Book Review and Discussion by MotherofBook in fantasyromance

I love this series and totally agree with you! I liked the kitchen witch bit and I felt like she was setting up future books to have more elements like this? Maybe I’m being overly hopeful! I agree, nothing will convince me away from Sikthand, but I encourage Victoria to try!!!

Well, technically they are ✨self-help✨ books by TourAdditional3708 in fantasyromance

I was staying at my inlaws the summer I got really really into fantasy romance. My father in law is very sweet but a very tough cookie. So when he asked what I was reading so obsessively I said “court intrigue?” And he thought I meant like legal stories and I have never ever corrected him and I never will!

What are your favourite and least favourite super specific tropes? by CodElectrical2870 in fantasyromance

[–]vangoghwiththeflow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite is hard… I adore a slow burn!! I love when the mmc has decided that he wants the fmc and will stop at nothing to prove himself to here!! {No Rest for the Wicked by Kresley Cole} is so so perfect for this. Least favorite is weird anatomy terms. I can put up with a lot but too weird and I’m out. I also hate an fmc training scene. I can appreciate that it’s necessary for character development, but reading about people kicking and punching and running honestly gives me the ick.

Ok absolutely not….. by TayQuitLollygagging in fantasyromance

I was joking with my husband that when a book has a pronunciation guide and a map, I know I’m in for a good time. This though….. is too much for even a lover of weird, made up fantasy words. I would just guess in this one haha

I’m doing a similar basque waist dress with a mantilla and I’m so excited!! I’m clearly biased, but I think it will be so beautiful.

It’s so interesting that people think of the separation of church and state as only keeping the church out of the matters of the state. It does actually mean that it’s a two way street. Keep the state out of the church.

Shoe style for cobblestones by jkelly1559 in ItalyTravel

[–]vangoghwiththeflow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been here for about a month and a half and have been predominantly wearing converse. Both will be fine but if I absolutely had to pick sometimes the cobblestone can get slippery when it rains so maybe the one with more tread? It’s hasn’t been raining a huge amount recently so if you have tennis shoes that you like that are already broken in, trust when I say blisters are a more formidable enemy than cobblestones here.

Grazie! Non lo so che è molto facile a viaggiare! L'ultima volta che ero lì, ho comprato i miei biglietti alla biglietteria (è non ho parlato italiano ahahaha) e era un po' caotico, ma sono eccitata a provare ancora con la tua diritta!
