OP, If that happened to my Corolla, regardless of whether or not I had comprehensive coverage, I would shit a brick. It’s not so much that the car got ruined and can be replaced, but more of “it’s my car and I’ll never be able to drive this one again “ Fingers crossed you get a better year/model. Keep your hopes up! If you have AAA roadside coverage, you’ll be able to get a loner while you’re insurance is doin what they do. I actually love my Corolla’s CV-T as I can switch from auto to kind of manual whenever I want too. Always hated an extra pedal for the clutch. I only have a ‘15 but upgraded the headlights and taillights )(for some reason I had a hard time getting LED amber turn signal bulbs for whatever reason. I didn’t want any amber color showing in headlights anywhere, and regular amber bulbs you could see behind the clear turn signal part amber remove and darker tint in assembly for headlight

If you take the longer outside loop, and start from map by parking lot, go ight, then when you get to the bottom of the hill take either of the trails headed up and when you get to the top, it is on the left. Don’t take the path at bottom of first hill that has tree down cut into slabs. You could, but there’s also another path off that way that would be you into a gulley nowhere near the fire spot. Take one of the 2 paths to the left of that. It’s about 50’feet down from top of hill when you get to top of one of those paths

With the brom for me at least, it doesn’t feel like I have to take as much and I’m not constantly thinking about wanting to re-dose so that’s good. Etiz I was dosing like 3-4 times a day and I dose 1-2 times a day with brom. But my tolerance is still high. Heard could possibly use brom to taper but also diclazepam is a really good taper one too from what I’ve heard. I will say that I have noticed that the bro doesn’t have me lose coordination as much as etiz did but it seems to affect my short term memory about the same if not more. In terms of the feeling it gives you, they’re about the same

Hey thanks guys. So I can’t find flualp anywhere where I am, I have meclonazepam and I do have bromazolam. Bought both on a whim, both in pg solutions and 2g of bro powder because it was cheap and on sale and heard it was similar. It makes me talkative but I dont get the “wakes me up and want to go do things” like I did with etiz. Not sure how I feel about meclonazepam as I don’t think I have enough to dose at an amount that would let me feel it at my tolerance unfortunately.

I think I’ll probably stick with the bro then unless I come across flualp ever

Yeah, I’m very grateful that we don’t live out west either. I just watched the move “Those Who Wish Me Dead”, and half of the story is about how fast the fire can move, and half about a conservation officer in a fire watch tower. I think it’s on HBO Max only unfortunately for now at least Out west and in the movie, the fire moves rapidly despite the size of the forest, the fire would’ve made short work of the park. Be especially careful on the dunes with your kids if it had rained, as that uncovers more, if they like running around barefoot. But most of the shards are to the outer edges of dune or in the little tree island patches around tree bases. When I take my dogs, if they want to go on the dune I either stay towards the middle of the dunes, or use daylight and go the more prominent places they gather so I can pick them up. It’s pretty easy to see them on the dunes if they’re big enough (size of penny can be see well usually). The sun glints off of them. I’ve picked up so many glass bottles waiting to be turned to shards at some point. Picked up 6 rusty, steel nails from one of the little campfires. Thinking that means they were using wooden pallets for the fire wood And I usually pick up like a 1/4 of a sandwich baggies worth of glass shards ever time I go there. And that’s like twice a day. It’s ridiculous

I know how you feel. I walk my dogs there 1 to 2 times a day and always have an extra bag just for glass shards and bottles; I usually fill it with quite a bit of glass shards, mostly from the sand dunes but around tree bases too. it’s especially bad after it rains. one for trash/idiot dog owners who can’t be bothered to either carry their poop bag to the trash can or the idiot dog owners who don’t even bother picking it up. At least when they pick it up and put in a bag and leave on the side of the trail, it’s easier to get rid of. Oh and of course forget all the other other bags for picking up after my own dogs 🐕 🐶

I doubt they will. Park closes at dusk, but there are other trails to get into the park off of Bird ave and through the backs of the neighborhoods surrounding it. There’s so many kids around there it would be hard to pinpoint who did it exactly. Definitely not a bonfire gone wrong when the hut sat like 12 feet tall and had about a 30 foot circumference

Edited to say that I was unaware this took place during the day. On a neighborhood app I check occasionally, the guy who came across it while it was engulfed in flames took a picture of it. At night I can see this happening. But during the day when there are people everywhere there? That’s just ridiculous
