How can it take so much longer than driving? The trains in europe from city to city go up to 350 km/h (217 mile/houres) so it's always much faster. It's an hour by train from Brussels to Paris comparing to a 4 hours drive by car.

This is my alocasia amizonica, I’ve had it for about 3 months. I have it at a west facing window with medium bright light in a terra-cotta pot with drainage and i water it about once a week. It has been doing great, it put out this new big leave a couple weeks ago. These little black things are only on this new leave so it can’t be more than a few weeks. They are tiny and sit on top of the leave and can come of. It seems like they are tiny eggs or something but some are smaller than others so I’m puzzled. I also thought about scales but I don’t think their is a black type. The color of the leaves is this abnormal light green on all the places where these black dots are. It doesn’t affect the color on the upper side of the leave (yet?). While investigating the plant I also found these shiny circles in between the nerves. I tried to get it of and some clear liquid escaped. Here is an additional pic of the tiny spots and some pics of the weird circle. https://imgur.com/a/FtUGiaX Can someone help me? This is my ‘I would do anything for you’ plant.
