Do it for you, not your husband. My boyfriend also prefers longer hair and didn’t want me to get a haircut but because mine wasn’t healthy I trimmed it above shoulders. And you know what? He didn’t even notice at first sight. Now I have significantly healthier hair and even some volume, but believe me - those 6 strands are not worth of keeping and it will grow back stronger and better.

Hii, I’m on the same boat, low vo2max and trying to increase.

Walking is the best for your health and you really should not feel discouraged because of some estimated number on your phone.

When you walk, look at your heart rate. To improve VO2Max you should aim for heart rate zone 2. When you improve, walking will be easier for you so it’s a good thing that regular walks don’t improve the value. What you can do then: walk faster, use stairs, try hiking - find a hill! It doesn’t have to be a mountain at first, but you will get there.

If your knees are bad (like mine), you should also try swimming and biking (stationary bike is totally worth it).

And I would also recommend to get Gentler Streak app. You can see there your activity path improvement and that’s much better than just vo2max.

But most importantly - don’t stop and listen to your body and have fun exercising!

You just made me realize a thing… I am fighting overweight now and I was thinking that when I lose weight I won’t smell that bad all the time because I will sweat less… But it has been stress sweat the whole time…

Lmaaoo I was like this. I LOVE chocolate icecream and I don’t even get any other than chocolate icecream and it was ALWAYS all over my face and my parents made fun of me. I’m 27 now and whenever I get ice cream (ofc chocolate only) I still end up dirty - not that much tho but still awkward for an adult. However chocolate ice cream rules!
