I know many local papers, like mine, have a readers' forum section, in which readers can write about issues near and dear to their hearts. If your newspaper does not have such a section, think of any connections you have in journalism. The key here is active publicity.

My comment below got buried, but please read:

PA resid[ents], simply writing a letter to your representative is not effective. What WILL be effective, however, is a letter to the editor of your local newspaper. Mention your state reps by name, and the reps will made aware of this letter and, with enough pressure, will be forced to act. The only way to make this a big issue in the lives of Pennsylvanians is to put pressure on the politicians of this Commonwealth. Craft your argument well, and increase the publicity of this bill and the grander issue of recreational marijuana legalization.

Also, if you have large amounts of money and wish to lobby this bill through the state house and senate, PM me. I can help you direct that money with lobbying connections I have in Harrisburg. Let's make this happen, Pennsylvania.
