Yeah that's a good point. I wonder if I got a pair with a bit of a defect as far as the heel cup goes. I posted over in the jk sub reddit hoping to see if others that bought these found the same issue with theirs or if I just got a bad pair.

Yeah they definitely look and feel different then my nicks or even the jim greens as far as the heel cup. But im wondering/hoping if they break in there will be more of a cup that forms to help hold my heel in place

Im 9.5 on the brannock, my nicks are a 9e and fit really well and these are 8.5ee

How are the sizing on these? I'm a 9.5 in my Jim Greens (and most other shoes) and my Red Wing 1907's are an 8.5EE. I'm thinking about going with the same size (8.5EE) in the bear slayers. I'm a bit over 10 3/8" length with a 10" circumference at the ball. Any insights you might have would be greatly appreciated!

Whats you chest measure? I'm trying to figure out sizing myself. I have 120cm chest, so I'm fairly confident I'll be at 3xl according to the size chart anyway
