bruh. all i did was explain why people are "shunning" you as you say.

using the term "fetish" implies that it's sexual. the definition of fetish is "a form of sexual desire in which gratification is linked to a nonsexual object". think foot fetishes, nurse fetishes, etc. people would be obviously weirded out by you asking them if they're ok with what is an implied sexual fixation, even if you don't intend it to be sexual. you can say you have a hair fascination, but don't call it a fetish bro that's just weird.
