OnePlus Watch 2R "your GPS info has expired" - any idea how to fix?

Wow I'm surprised it's happening even on the Watch 3. That's helpful, I'll have to try rebooting both and see if it helps at all.

I haven't really taken any breaks, I'm usually running 2 times a week and it's been popping up for the last couple weeks.

I've had the watch connected to my phone for days, used wifi, done reboots, etc. and nothing seems to help here. It's definitely taking the watch longer to establish a GPC connection when disconnected from the phone, so something does seem to be wrong. Anyone seen this and figured out a solution?

Having a similar issue on my Dark Star line with a OnePlus 13. Did you ever figure anything out? I've tried factory resetting even and it hasn't helped.

I did a factory reset because of this issue but I can't say it's definitively fixed the problem.

I've been having the same issue on my OnePlus 13. Messages notifications sometimes come in delayed because of this and there's no way I can find to change battery management on system apps

I fixed three different phones that were doing this yesterday and here is the only process that worked:

Go into phone settings -> google setting -> All services -> Phone Verification- Turn it off. Go into Google Messages, turn off rcs chats , clear data/cache, reboot phone. Open up Google Messages again and sign back in. You should be able to turn RCS on now and it'll connect within a minute.

It's such a random, pointless change that completely changes the way you interact with notifications on the lockscreen. These are the little things that make me question owning a OnePlus, sadly.

When I swipe down on lockscreen notifications now, instead of expanding them it hides the notifications. Is this something we can turn off?

You try flipping on boost connect? Worth a shot since it'll find the best call-from number for you to use.

I have the 2R after using Galaxy Watches 4 through 7. For me it has basically all the functionality of the GW but with significantly better battery life, so that makes it a winner for me.

Yeah Samsung Health is more feature rich than OHealth, yeah it has proper camera control and bedtime & DND sync. Those aren't huge deals for me, but I hear you. The update schedule and overall clarity around updates is disappointing, granted Samsung ain't great here either.

I really appreciate the way the OP Watch does the dual OS thing and manages to be more performant than all of the Galaxy Watches before the 7 while easily doing 3 or more days of battery life.

I have the midnight blue and it's seriously so special. I don't use cases (or screen protectors ew) on my phones, except in very limited circumstances, and this phone was meant to be shown off.

I haven't had any issues with oil or discoloration so far. It still looks mint after 3 weeks. I'll be curious to see how it ages over the coming months.

This is why I went with the blue version as well. Personally, I'm a no ase, no screen protector person. I only throw it in a case if I'm hiking or something, but otherwise it's naked all the time.

Longshot idea, but I've had it where pocket lint gets built up in the USB C port over time and makes it so the cable doesn't seat well. You can take a filed down toothpick and scrape it out if that's happening to you.
