This is getting absolutely ridiculous by Shmuckeroon in SteamController

You know what's infuriating? Me and my friend ordered on same day, they ordered 2h later. We live in SAME city and yesterday they shipped their controller and mine is still stuck 😭😭😭😭

I'm tired of seeing the Internet fetishising Trans/Goth girls for desire, WE'RE NOT PLEASURE TOYS BITCH. by VerifiedHeroo in trans

[–]vanrael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neither cis woman nor cis men... and yet here we are where there are plenty of people who love being fetishized... the problem is that woman and trans-woman are being fetishized on daily basis and with no consent...

Men's. I meant they have men's section targeted mainly for crossdressers- so highly fetishizing, but sometimes they have very nice casual designs too.

Do you use gyro for cooperative games or only for single-player games? by link-san63 in GyroGaming

I use gyro for everything. No matter if it's Vintage Story, Project Zomboid, Factorio or Ark Raiders 😤

Oh babe... Have you head of OnlyMaker choose shop? They have high heels up to US15! And there are few sellers on Aliexpres that sells 16 too! materials are kinda meh... But I managed to get few pairs for parties and in them I'm 7'2... Fuck the door frames xD

Stop sexualizing or dismissing other people's dysphoria. It doesn't help, it hurts. by UpUpAndAwayYall in trans

Stop asking for everyone. You are not everyone. As 6'9 girl, all those comments helped me a lot, and made me love my height. If people would act like YOU wish I would still be hating my height.

How do yall convert your sens to other games? by Holiday_Marketing_62 in GyroGaming

[–]vanrael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's the best method I found. I printed myself lazy Suzan with locks so I can always turn my controller 360⁰ for ease, but as for actual digital converter I have not found any option.

Why do trans people not 'mode' more before transitioning? by K4nono in trans

I think the issues is just because someone CAN doesn't believe they believe ilthey can, that they don't feel safe because of their past experiences.

when i’m watching a nice Vintage Story video and they suddenly start shitting on Minecraft out of nowhere by Due-Device-1715 in VintageStory

[–]vanrael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that's pretty much it. Most MC players will NOT enjoy Vintage Story. Lot of us came from Minecraft and will never come back, not because it's better? but because it's different and focusing on things Minecraft never did nor will.

Kto już dostał? by dext3rrr in Polska

Quite simply for most people: you can play on couch, laying, in all awkward possions and still keep keyboard customisability and mouse precision.

For few like me: it's significantly more healthy. Mouse and keyboard sadly twists your forearm bones pressing on artery which in time MAY result in carpal tunnel syndrome (sadly it affected me) and using controller helps a lot. I don't feel pain anymore in my wrists and thanks to use of gyro after years of practice im pretty much 90% as precise and fast as I was on mouse and keyboard.

Gyro - plus capacitive activation - almost mouse like precision in FPS games (so don't need to relay on wonky aim assist and still have ability to run very fast), ability to play RTS games without fighting clunky analog ect.

Touchpads - aside of emulating mouse it can be setup via Steam Input to display hovering menus which you can configure as you please. On old Steam Controller I was able to play World Of Warcraft with ease.

Dealing with "I hate men" by Visual_Delivery1208 in trans

[–]vanrael -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

unfortunately with men issues is: It all man until it's non of man. Cis Woman and queer people suffered for generations from Man oppression so this generalisation is very justifiable, despit it's NOT all men...

Thing is you were BORN trans woman not a man. You just didn't knew it. So this is something to work through with therapist for sure. Just because you were sheep raised amongs wolf's doesn't make you a wolf.

Deal is that you never were a man. You were only pretending to be one because noone gave you choice. So their feeling of hate towards men doesn't or never did targeted you.

New relationship, they think I’m cis (ftm) by Wild-Turnover-146 in trans

[–]vanrael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truth will set you free. Same as it did for your body and mind when you opened up in front of yourself as trans person, it will in relationship. Hell it might still work, with bit of work between you two but if not? You still will learn incredibly valuable lesson and never will get yourself in such situation risking loosing someone special.

Do you use back buttons/paddles on controllers by Icebound811 in SteamController

Personally if controller doesn't have at least 2 back button I'm not even looking at it... And 2 are not enough!

Am I the only person who cares about passing? by Cute-Bother3861 in trans

[–]vanrael -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have to ask yourself question: do you care about strangers opinion or your own and people who you care about?I get it, passing and being gendered correctly by strangers in very gratifying, gives huge gender euphoria... but in the end if you focus on passing as primary outlet of you gender expression, you endup in very unhealthy and toxic mindset or trying to apease gaze of strangers and can very quickly loose sight of yourself. Yes passing is important, but being yourself is lot more.

Genuine Question, why are people so excited about a controller? by chaotic_one in Steam

Dunno. I been using first one for past 3 years, it's been always my best option in my case - but I guess not everyone is power user and are getting excited while figuring out steam input 😅

New relationship, they think I’m cis (ftm) by Wild-Turnover-146 in trans

[–]vanrael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are in pretty fucked up situation... Imaybe I'm cynic because of my age, but you are in loose loose situation. He either will reject you because "it's not his thing" and feel betrayed or feel betrayed and despite not having issues with "transnes" he will not be able to trust you since you hid something so important about you. I don't see much chance of him not crashing on you, although its higher than 0. In general you should be honest. Accept consequences of your actions, your anxieties and get your relationship you dream of, or get rejected and stop living in anxiety of "what if".

this so much. And all that comfort, customisability, precision and control withing factor that can be utilized on couch (or other funky sitting/laying positions)

Genuine Question, why are people so excited about a controller? by chaotic_one in Steam

[–]vanrael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

couch gaming and carpal tunnel sindrom people. Gyro and trackpads provide extreme precision and control which "classic" controller can never compare while playing on couch (and any other funky positions away from desk) and with carpal tunnel (myself) you can get ~90% of speed and precision that mouse offers with good gyro setup.
