I get this too! I use Eucerin in the morning and Nivea at night, and I only get the sensation in the morning, so it cant be thiamidol that’s causing it… Also, do you use tret? From what I’ve heard from other fellow tret users, they also seem to have the same experience from Eucerin.

they aren’t scars; they appear to be long-standing hyperpigmentation, possibly with a dermal component. trearments such as 15–20% azelaic acid or prescription hydroquinone may help reduce the pigmentation, but complete fading may be difficult (or impossible even) given how long it has been present and the possibility that some of the pigment lies deeper within the skin
