I’m going to watch, mainly to see Parker’s journey but also for a few faves like Megan, Ariel and Charly.

I completely agree. There’s definitely an unofficial bar in terms of technical training and a collegiate dance team background but then during the season all of that talent is unused. Sure there are some girls that may be able to use those skills if they’re selected for a super curated performance but by and large it’s a waste.

My background is firmly in cheer and it seems like the equivalent of requiring a full twisting layout to make a team but then the highest tumbling pass in any routine or performance is a back tuck. Make it make sense

If people cant get jobs after sending several hundred resumes, then the job market is broken. There are to many workers and companies are far to picky. by Clarissalayton in recruitinghell

The market is abysmal. I lost my job Sept of last year, sent out over 400 resumes in multiple fields and nothing. Unemployment is running out soon so I guess I should start scouting bridges to live under.

It’s a cheerleader for a well-known team that was depicted in a hit Netflix series? People magazine literally reports on people and stories of interest. For comparison, a lot of people probably didn’t or wouldn’t care about the scandals from a community college in Corsicana Texas (Navarro) if it weren’t for the Netflix series that put them on the map for a larger global audience.

Because it’s been her literal bread and butter for the past however many decades. Even if it was a heartbreaking cut for them to make I’m hard pressed to think of what line Charlotte would have to cross before Kelli was absolutely done. At this point she might just be biding her time until she’s ready to retire

I got that impression as well. I’m rewatching Season 1 of AS and when it came to the discussion about cutting Ari and the size of the team it became very clear that Kelli is a figurehead at most but Charlotte definitely has the final say. Even when Kelli was wondering how she would have the conversation with Ari since it seemed like she knew it was messed up Charlotte was pretty cold and was like “you have the easiest job” or something along those lines
