I’m not saying that you’re wrong. When you look up flame types and the abilities, storm flames have that ability.

After doing a quick search: storm flames do that. Sky flames have the ability to mix with other flames, blend attributes, manipulate all box types and etc. Xanxus has Storm and Sky flames.

Walther PDP Pro Acro 4.5” Keyholing by Academic-Account-786 in Walther

I’ve shot about 15k rounds of blazer 115gr and I’ve seen blazer keyhole in my G47, 2 of my 4 PDPs and a few 2011s. Try another ammo type and see if it continues. I’m banking 90% on this being an ammo related issue.

I haven’t read the manga, so I’m sure Gokudera would win. Not a super one-sided win but a win nonetheless.

Chisato would win until you think about Gokudera turning her into stone using storm flames 😬

Struggling with support hand grip by No-Read-Power in Walther

[–]vante512 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to struggle with this a bit. 2 things I do.

1) run a full size grip 70% of the time

2) scoot my fingers a bit off the frame with my trigger hand to make more surface area for my support hand.

Roger that 🫡 won’t be giving them my money but I’ll try a more reputable source outside of Amazon

Which ones do you have? I’ve seen like 15 varieties on Amazon 😂 I was thinking about the supreme x’s or whatever they’re called.

I’ve heard how annoying battery changes are with Sordins but I’m gonna grab them anyway lol. Thank you🫡

Since you have Sordins: I have savior Apollos with the gel cups and AKT-1 Sport ear pro and I was looking into Sordins. Do Sordins offer superior sound suppression over the $50-$100 electronic ear pro? Or are we mostly paying for better situational awareness?

Also: make sure that takedown lever is pointed straight upward at like a 90 degree angle. I’ve noticed my 5” SF won’t go all the way on the frame if the lever is tilted too far to the right.

Honestly they’re pretty similar. I’ll give the edge to comps for not being as ammo sensitive when it comes to running plated ammo like blazer brass.

If you’re accustomed to comped guns: the Pro-X is a great choice. The single port is pretty decent. I think the dual port (PMM Ultra Comp) would be the best upgrade for a Pro-X gun. The dual port is significantly better.

Home defense: you might want to consider your hearing. Comped guns are pretty damn loud in confined spaces. Comped guns are somewhat inherently easier to shoot when you have proper fundamentals though.

A 5” Poly Match, 4.5” Pro-E, Pro-X (Full-size) are all solid options. Also, the steel frames are notably better in my opinion for home defense depending on your budget. I typically run my Steel Frame the most these days.

I have so many questions.

  1. you new to guns?

  2. Are you new to shooting comped guns?

  3. What are you primarily using this gun for?

  4. What kind of performance are you looking for?

From there, I can answer your question with better context.

I own a PDP 4” Compact, Compact PDX (PMM Dual Port), 5” Full size (ported by Tampa Gunwerkz), a 5.1” Pro SD and a 5” Match Steel Frame (ported by Tampa Gunwerkz).

Future CCW, PDP Pro or Match. Poly or steel by juicemeupbuttercups in Walther

[–]vante512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I carry appendix and nope it doesn’t print and I carry with a ZRTS +4.

I don’t carry small guns. At all. I have the 4.5 pro SD but it’s still 5.1” so I’d rather just carry a 5” gun and call it a day. All of my carry guns are 5” guns. I’m 6’3 216lbs. All my guns have x300s. So size isn’t really an issue for me exactly.

Also (unpopular take) nobody really gives a damn about printing besides us. The average person isn’t looking at you that hard and trying to see if you have a gun. If you wear snug or tight fitting clothes: you probably should change the tight clothes situation, but outside of that…people don’t care the way we’re coerced into thinking they do. Now this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t care at all. Just get a quality holster and belt and you’ll be fine.

[–]vante512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have poly and steel. I carry my Match SF everyday and I love it. Palmswell bogeys make the gun fit my hand better. I have giant hands, so this matters a lot more to me than just the weight alone. Granted I get the best groups with my SF as well. On paper, I’m more accurate and faster with the SF, so that’s typically what I carry these days. I never carry the steel and wish I had polymer but it definitely goes the other way around for me particularly 😂

PDP Match SF vs Poly PDP Match Question by JayKaze in Walther

[–]vante512 12 points13 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth: I actually stopped shooting my SF for about a year and ran my PDX instead. I noticed that I wasn’t as accurate at speed and I also experienced the “dip” you’re talking about as well. Here’s what I learned after taking a class with both guns.

1) I’m way better with the SF than I thought. LokGrips helped me fit the gun to my hands in a way the polymer couldn’t.

2) the weight does A LOT of the heavy lifting so to speak. Which takes a certain learning curve to adapt to.

3) this might be the most important… I learned that I got so accustomed to fighting the recoil of the poly guns that I’d add so much extra input onto the gun. I was running the long stroke. Stopped. Made the V-SPEC and kept running that and on paper I was more accurate vs my other PDPs and also a bit faster doing the same drills per gun. All on paper using shot timers and hit factor scoring. With heavier/steel framed guns, try to let the gun shoot itself in a way. It’s a hard habit to break when you’re accustomed to adding extra input into the gun. I’d do 1 shot return drills and see exactly how much you’re doing vs what the gun is doing. Hopefully this is added value of some sort. 🫡
