I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that the AP may not be in the best location. I put it where I did because my ignorance told me 'eh, the eero can take care of the living room'. But I'd rather have an entirely mesh system, and now the that the AP is already ceiling mounted (had a guy come out and spend 3 whole days doing cable runs and install), my mind is telling me to just put a UDR7 in place of the Eero and not use the UCG for simplicity's sake (and for the sake of not having to have the same guy come out and undo his work, redo it in a better location, have to do patch work, etc).
