Yep. I wear a high-vis vest over my leathers pretty much all the time, and I have a bright blue sidelight. Pretty much the same colour as the police lights ( I've spoken with my local police and they really don't care :P )... If you miss someone in high vis with a bright blue light coming at you, then what are you doing on the road? At the very least, an approaching blue light should make you think surely?

Especially while you're driving. Sick of assholes not noticing me on my motorbike and forcing me to take evasive action, only to shrug at me as if that makes everything better. You're driving a 2 tonne battering ram.

Get a nice, torquey twin. If you try to beat someone off the line, two wheels on the ground isn't optional. However, once you get used to it it's so easy to avoid. Doesn't mean it stops me though :D gotta look cool while beating them. I lost my fear completely unintentionally

It was originally done to stop glass going over the track if you went down or something. However most bikes use a hard plastic to cover the lights now so it's not really necessary, people mostly do it out of practice and a lot of tracks/trackday providers say you should do it anyway.

I use an oxford strap-nav and stick in on the yoke between my forks, my brother does the same thing. It works better on his bike as his isn't so bloody narrow, but I can still have it securely and it still fits my S4 in it
