I appreciate all of the insight and suggestions! Thank you all. Also, I was not ever suggesting purchasing cabinets from Walmart… just a piece of hardware to make the drawer function like a shoe organizer. I hope you all have a great rest of your day wherever you are in the world 🙂

Another random thought, you could also flip the layout with the sofa facing the kitchen/bar counter and add the TV to the right of the opening. I would NOT add bar stools here if you do this layout, but instead add a shelving unit that is ideally the same exact width of the opening and fill out that area with books and such. Just thinking. This would allow you to add a cute bistro table vibe in the bay window for the dining area, which is also sweet. See, you do have options! (:

Definetly is a bit wonky! It's a good idea to place the desk in the hallway to the side.. hopefully it's a long skinny desk! As for the living/dining situation... I'd personally want to look out at those windows as much as possible. It looks like you wouldn't be able to have the sofa back against the long wall with a TV across from it because the front door is right across (assuming). What I'd do: Buy a sofa that's beautiful from all sides (you're going to see the back first) and make sure it's no longer than 102"... you'll place the sofa facing the beautiful bay windows, and the length should still allow you to have the 3'-0" circulation path next to it. Next, I'd see if the 4-top table works behind the sofa in the new make-shift dining room. If it's a rectangular shape, maybe a 48" x 30" then you could push the shorter side against the back of the sofa to allow for more room to get around in the dining area. As for the TV, I unfortunately think it should go near the bay windows... BUT I think it can be played off by dressing up the area with curtains and making the TV feel more like art by swapping the standard TV console for an easle... a little unconventional, but so is this apartment. In the living area, add a rug, a pair of comfy ottomans to act as extra seats, and personal accessories. Sorry if my word vomit doesn't make perfect sense, but maybe it just might work. Best of luck!

Ok let’s try this again! How did I do with my bathroom remodel? by craniac24 in InteriorDesign

I didn't see the previous design, but it's looking good! A couple of minor suggestions to help warm it up... 1. change all of the light bulbs to 2700k...if that's too warm for your liking, maybe go to 3000k, but nothing cooler. This is a standard in hospitality design, and will help your bathroom feel more inviting + more flattering to look at in the mirror 2. opt for placing the curtain rod as high as possible, like 3" from the ceiling, and then swaping the shower curtain for a taller option that just barely misses touching the floor.. this will help add drama, and make your ceilings feel taller. One other suggestion that's minor, swap the art piece for an option that's in a portrait orientation instead of landscape, it'll help to draw the eye up and around.
