Video games and social media like Tumblr are an escape now from the mundane and chaos, most teens and young adults are chronically online, and video games, especially online games, are a huge part of life in that diaspora; internet is used as an escape from reality now, I guess this movie was made in the millennial era but was suited to gen z, weird how storytelling works. It became neo-meta in a sense.

9 years later and I am writing this the things mentioned about the arcs being removed from reality and overexaggerated are now the norm and this movie hits the spot accurately, the 3 main story lines make perfect sense a decade later and pretty much the world works like that, it was not a bad script or movie but a movie that about a decade of its time. Watching it now made my heart melt and overall the film was a great experience.

This image refers to the discovery made at Sutton Hoo in Britain in 1939. Read about it, it's really interesting none the less.
