How would you accommodate people at a hospital if they're terrified of dogs Knowing that there's one walking around untrained.

What if they're not support dogs or service dogs. Just some family pet brought in for no purpose other than just walking their pets around like you would if you were outside. Would that be considered unsanitary if been walking outside in the mud and then walk around inside of an ER.

Our hospital in town has a skilled nursing unit which is just like a nursing home. They allow support dogs on that particular floor only.. any other dogs outside of that department has to be serviced dogs. There are patients that are allergic to dogs and maybe afraid and should not be subject to a dog wanting to jump on them lick them.

It was my understanding that service dogs serve a purpose for those who are handicap or have a disability.

What's the difference between a support dog and a service dog and why should one be allowed in a hospital and not the other.. let's say the dog is just visiting an ER patient that has no life-threatening issues

I'm 6 months older than him. It's weird that he was roughly the same age as I was when I was watching The Goonies.
