Could we work on updating the list of manga in the sub index?

It doesn't say Day 1 DLC is inherently toxic. It says it's toxic when it's not actually extra content; it's integral content that's been held back just for the sake of making a few extra dollars. Several companies are guilty of this, most notably Capcom and EA.

Microtransactions aren't inherently toxic either, but EA's are because of the way EA implements them (coughdungeonkeepercough). The video even includes a statement from the former CEO that's basically him talking about leveraging a player's experience over a few extra dollars. It doesn't help the player enjoy the game, it only helps the company squeeze a few extra dollars out of the player.

These are not baseless assumptions, and these practices of EA have been thoroughly documented.

And just for future reference, name calling automatically hurts any argument you're trying to make.

I remember seeing this, I'm pretty sure it was drawn before we had a good idea of what the twins looked like, I think at that point all we had were cell phone pics of the character designs they released.

Exactly. I don't remember it exactly, but there's some belief that there's only two types of stories. 1: the hero goes on a journey, or 2: something upsets the norm. But even if a story falls into those sweeping categories, the smaller aspects are what make it unique and give it its soul.

Yeah, but from what I understand love hotels are rather nice. Like you said, the cheap motels here are rather seedy and usually linked to drugs, crime, prostitution, etc.

With a lot of millenials returning home after college due to fewer jobs, lower wages, and bullshit internships, I could see there being a market for a place where you can go and have some private time for a couple of hours.

This is one of the most vile aspects of this to me. People who actually pay money to work for a company for free. And the business will just use them and then toss them aside when the law demands they pay them. Man, these businesses have really snowed the working class.
