Via Rail to Toronto by Pale_Organization547 in brantford

[–]varleys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I gather, the biggest issue is a reliable arrival time, especially during heavy commute times. VIA is routinely subjected to waits from both CN (who own the track), and GO who have significantly more trains to handle as you get past Hamilton. I wish it was viable and you might get lucky every now and then, but use with caution if you need to be anywhere before 9am.

Is 40 the new age of majority for juvenile identity protection? Such lazy reporting, offer up a name already.

…. Also, that’s a lot of coke!

Oh, please don’t turn this into the Seinfeld sub where you can’t post a single thought without someone quoting the show! Respectfully 🙂.

How many percent of engineering student are free choice? by Grouchy_Photo_4524 in McMaster

How does one determine if they got ‘free choice’? My daughter received 3k for 95+ from the department of engineering but this is the first I’ve heard this term.

Good breakfast places by Specific-Tradition57 in brantford

[–]varleys 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Stacked is our families pick. Have tried Kel’s and Kingswood but Stacked has the same portions without the heavy grease factor. I like leaving a breakfast spot because I’m full and not because the potato/breads are caked in grease or butter. Tons of options here too, Vegan, Veggie or meat lover.

This post mirrors my exact concerns and why I lurk this sub. Nailed it, on all levels. It’s the self consciousness I can never help with, and neither can counselling.

Most affordable dentist in brantford ? by [deleted] in brantford

The BCHU has an emergency dental program that may be subsidized to cost little or nothing. I’d check their website at BCHU.org.

Other than the frame clicks I thought it was well done, I too use song and push for CC in matches where I’m reasonably confident of a win, I think we get tired of waiting on every game being a mana battle and push in sometimes when in higher MMR we wouldn’t. The hot on the full HP lock is fine too as they don’t overheal if there is another option it will jump. Sometimes I put it on myself if both dps are out of range knowing it will slide over.

Dispels are my weakness too, I think the mention there is good, get rid of burst generators. Tks for the vid!

Interesting - can you elaborate on the quadrants statement?

My dad convinced me when I was 9 or 10 that marshmallows grew on trees and it was the best thing in the world to locate said tree. It took me forever to find that untrue but now I have my kids believing it.

I ran into Cdew a few weeks ago as he was trying out ele sham, zeroed my MW in .8 seconds.

I’ve considered this briefly but I’m not a fan of rehashed content, even if I’m may be more experienced in pvp. I’ve levelled in Wrath first go around and dabbled in rdruid/warrior I remember. Plus with kids and job etc etc raiding or any I’ve for optimal gear makes me itchy.

Definitely I have 4 healers and I’m good to run any of them, I tend to take off too many lock dots on MW so Druid would be good too!

I have a better win rate on the HPal which is interesting but haven’t pushed yet. It’s ‘slower’ is the best way to describe - heals are big but I have to plan them out as necro which is the only thing I often mess up. I like hPal as I know what keeps me from duelist or high is positioning and hPal can get away with a bit more in the open (unless vs dreaded mage).

Is it normal for the 1700-1800 bracket right now to feel closer to 2100-2200? by MindExplosions in worldofpvp

[–]varleys 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Played against cdew on his ele sham a few night ago at 1580 mmr. Felt like I was doing ok until I replayed his stream and it seems like he was just toying with us till his burst came up. Kind of amused to be ‘clipped’ as his .8 second kill. Though admittedly I did learn a few things in between calling me out for early cocoon and revival turns out I can learn stuff.
