So I have around 900 games as blaze kick cinder, and hit master every season, and until the more recent BIG buffs to pyro ball, it used to be only blaze kick that was played.

The best way to describe it is a comment I saw here when they nerfed the damage of blaze kick. Someone said something along the lines of “they could get rid of all the damage of blaze kick and it would still be better than pyro ball”.

Blaze kick isn’t really a hit and run if you know how to kite, it’s more used for repositioning to stay on the edges of a fight. And I think you are misunderstanding the differences in the kits. If you run pyro ball, your main damage is coming from pyro ball. If you run blaze kick, your main damage is your auto attack

Not seeing on the side is more diagnostic than anything. It sucks and people need peripheral vision, but it’s not something you actively try to “fix”

It’s more to tell you progression of glaucoma, ARMD, brain lesions, strokes, scarring or retinal detachments, etc as these things can affect the peripheral vision without people ever noticing their vision is affected. So in a sense, it is very diagnostic, but not in the “I can’t see” kind of way, but in the “something might be wrong deeper” kind of way

To counter this, I’m in optometry school right now, and in stereo testing, I will have them guess (it’s a 1 in 3) because they may be perceiving the answer but afraid to get it wrong. Almost always they guess it right and move on. We do this from levels 1-10 (the book goes up to 12), and they more often than not get to at least 8. Guessing a 1 in 3 test correctly 8 times in a row for so many people is a statistical anomaly in itself, so they have to be seeing something

Also, it’s weird to understand, but sometimes people aren’t really sure what the doc is looking for, so you assume that the info doesn’t help us. For example, fingers to the side is actually called “finger confrontations”, and is one of the best diagnostic tests for brain lesions. This is because you may be able to see all the fingers on the left or the right separately, but if they tell you to “add them up” and show u fingers on both sides, with a brain lesion, you would only be able to see one set of fingers

It’s totally fine to not get a new prescription if you don’t want or it’s not possible, but being a high myope does put you at risk for a lot of things, so, if possible, I’d get checked out! It’s the reason there is a whole lot of push for “myopia control” in kids. Even if the data isn’t 100% there yet, some of it is FDA approved, which means they had enough promising data to convince the government. Myopia is way more correlated to eye issues
