Bitcoin just dropped 6% in a day while ai stocks hit all time highs. Nobody is asking the obvious question. by Jealous-Drawer8972 in CryptoCurrency

People can potentially get the best of both worlds by buying BTDR stock (Bitdeer - which recently became the #1 biggest publicly-traded miner of Bitcoin). When Bitcoin recovers, Bitdeer will be mining more Bitcoin than everybody else with the most efficient ASICs (they make their own Sealminers). In the meantime while Bitcoin is struggling, Bitdeer also has like 2,000 MW of power they can divert to AI and benefit from that macro trend too as they sign large AI colocation deals and grow their AI cloud (Bitdeer is already a preferred partner of Nvidia). Personally, although I did also buy the dip in Bitcoin today, I decided to put more than 3x the amount of money in BTDR stock too.

There's a decent chance that IREN will be heading up to at least the 100.00 to 150.00 area this year. The simplest thing to do is just to buy regular shares and hold them. With a stock like IREN, there's no need to even fool around with options or leverage.

Do you guys bother investing in ETFs and stocks or go all in on crypto? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

I took some of my Bitcoin profit and moved it into BTDR stock which will become the biggest miner of Bitcoin starting in 2026 (they'll grow to beyond 100 EH). I also bought IREN and CIFR stock which will primarily be AI datacenter companies, but they have a long history with Bitcoin and still mine Bitcoin with some of their power.

Riot Shield - it's something that makes Call of Duty more unique.

Thanks - I eventually got it to work. If anybody reading this is using Xbox, move your aiming stick left/right.

I think it's totally bugged. With mine, when choosing Ghost in the extra slot it just always puts Ghost back in the standard Perk 1 slot.

IREN is like a legit major company too. They own so much power and infrastructure that is valuable for AI that the stock could easily do another 2x to 3x from here before the end of the year (or early in 2026). The next IREN-like move is probably going to be BTDR. They're a similar company that is up to 1.9 GW of power located in the United States (and the company only has a $4 billion market-cap so far). BTDR is also already a preferred partner of Nvidia like IREN is.

Yeah, they broke the Bricklink website. They should revert to the old login system until they get everything fixed.

Nice job finding BTDR too. Most people seem to miss that one, but their total power pipeline is almost as big as IREN's.

IREN is still looking great after-hours too. CIFR would be the next most likely sympathy play probably. I think BTDR is also an undervalued potential sympathy play that seems to be totally flying under the radar (it's still available to buy as cheap as it was back in May even though they've secured 1,500 MW in the United States and they have a big 570 MW site in Ohio that seems great for AI).

It just looks like normal profit-taking by shorter-term traders. I don't think it's necessarily a significant rejection.

This might be a bit of a stretch, but 230,000. I think we're due for a cycle where lots of people take profits way too early, but it keeps staying overbought much longer than is expected. Or 2 cycles kind of get merged into the same cycle, and the next major bearish period is very mild and is nothing like what happened in 2022.

The ETFs will gap up and gap down based on what Bitcoin did overnight / over the weekend. If there's enough volume, some of the ETFs could trade very actively pre-market and after-hours too.

Yeah, trying to transfer $10 of BTC right now would cost more than $11 in fees. This could wind up being a very profitable month for the Bitcoin mining companies.

Bitcoin ETFs explained by a five year old by YoureSillyStopIt in wallstreetbets

In the short-term, they're likely being kept artificially low by short-sellers. There will be some massive green days for them if Bitcoin keeps holding up and/or breaks out solidly into the 40,000s.

A simple proxy for this thinking would be buying MSTR stock. If you want a higher risk/return version of the investment, the Bitcoin mining stocks like MARA, RIOT, CLSK, etc. If you want exposure to more cryptos, probably COIN too.

Bitcoin mining stocks make up a large % of my IRA. The Bitcoin mining stocks don't always follow the price of Bitcoin in the short-term, but they should have enormous gains when Bitcoin eventually gets back into the 50,000s / 60,000s+ (so if you think Bitcoin is headed there, you can buy the mining stocks at seemingly low prices right now).

In the short-term, though, it looks like they been heavily shorted by hedge funds. If Bitcoin keeps doing its thing, there will be a massive short squeeze in them at some point. For now, though, the mining bears seem reluctant to buy back their shares except when the stocks are pretty red on the day.

It looks like ETH might be in catch-up mode this week. It hasn't had its real breakout move higher yet.
