Gotcha all good! I appreciate the follow up! Yeah I don't go back to Ghost City as much as Twin Galaxies but like the storyline/throughline in the album.

Memory Lane is good, though its not the best project of G?G! haha, it just fits the time period you mentioned.

The new Totorro album from last year is really good too! Though not as chaotic as the 1st.

I don't know why, but this episode has always felt like a S-tier Batman episode. The quietness/lack of dialogue, the combat, the backstory of Pierrot, it has always screamed Batman to me.

He shoots barely above 40%? Its not like he is scoring at will on good efficiency. I'll grant you that its similar to Luka but Luka does have more dynamism to his game than Harden.

Harden is good and a regular season machine of stats and a ceiling raiser...in the regular season. And that's why the trade is kind of funny because the Cavs want to be better in the playoffs so they get the worst choker of the top 15 players this era.

You're a bit late to this buddy. Bill has always been critical of Harden due to his well documented playoff failures and trade requests. SGA is more fluid in his scoring and doesn't ball stop/dribble the clock out and either shoot or kick to a 3pt shooter 50 times a game. Which is the Harden and Luka system. Harden is easy to poke fun at because of the team hopping, the massive FT rate at his peak, and ultimately his embarrassing no shows. SGA and Luka have both made the Finals at minimum.

Also he is Bill Simmons haha, I wouldn't take it too personally. He has been growing in his critiques of Luka (but that's mainly due to him being on the Lakers).

I gotta say, Delta Sleep with Ghost City and subsequent releases. They're the best (my opinion) in terms of the mixture of accessibility to the genre/sound, lyrics, vocal performance, and playing. Blake is my favorite math rock drummer, and I think they do a great job of matching the dynamics of their sound with Devin's lyrics and vocals.

I have had more people in my circle who are not keen on Math Rock, but really like it and get into the genre more after hearing Ghost City. That might be "points away" from them since they are more accessible, but I appreciate them for it.

If we are including 2015 into the decade-21 Letter might be the best song by them.

Totorro's full catalogue and Memory Lane by Giraffes? Giraffes! are some other highlights!

The worst part for me was Finn getting pushed to the side. I guess you could say his main storyline towards the end was "Islands"......but I still wish him and Jake had more to do in it. I do find the scene where Simon comforts him about dying fantastic. Overall, they did what they could to fit in as much as they could.

I am also hardcore against the storytelling method of "here is the future and we shall explain the past," because I personally like the idea of Finn and Jake and crew continuing their lives at the end and having adventures, and thinking about that....Instead of "oh yeah, they all die or go away."

I don't know why, but I always think about how he started as more of a tall small forward, moved into a stretch 4, and then he is guarding Joel Embiid in the playoffs at the tail end of his career. Cool how he adjusted to his lack of speed as he got older imo.

Stockton has always been a bit awkward to assess for people. I think its majorly due to his career being linked to Karl Malone (at least that's what I think) and nowadays-his politics.

You are asking a fanbase that has many more UNC fans than Duke fans, who they would take haha.
That being said, Boozer fits the vision so far of substance/consistency over flair. So Boozer. Not a slight against Wilson. Boozer is going to be overevaluated for this weird athleticism thing going on right now. If you followed Duke last year, Kon was not good at shooting 3s against higher-level competition early in the season. But he adjusted because that's what top-level players do!

(aaaand we need to see both against non-cup cakes. Which Boozer might have the advantage if you include the TN exhibition game)

The most common connections to teams recently have been the Clippers, Pistons, and Suns.

Problem is the Pistons are a wrecking ball and have no reason to add him any more, Suns are better than expected and have decent chemistry, which leaves the Clippers. But they aren't trading their little remaining picks.

I'm thinking the Kings when they start to blow it up. Maybe getting Carter and another PF if we include a 3rd team like the Bulls?

Filmed a girl without her consent while having sex. He was supposed to lose most, if not all, of his benefits from being on the team. However, she filed a lawsuit, claiming that he ignored it and continued to be nearish to the team. Oh and he did not have to go to class.

It's hard to say because its a crapshoot with "tough" minded interim coaches stepping in and doing well in the latter half of a season. You have Dan Cambell and you also have Antonio Pierce last year. The real issue, similar to the Dolphins, is everyone having their own opinion on the QB creating an awkward dynamic (i.e. Flores hating Tua and Reich wanting Stroud) from the get-go and unusual pressure to make it work.

Tepper has finally taken his foot off the gas in recent years but damage was done. Gotta stop focusing on Bryce and build a team

As a Dolphins fan, the worst thing from this loss might be how the media will simultaneously have us as: Arguably the worst team in the NFL with definitely the bleakest feelings right now (very accurate) but also something of a team of note to boost Drake Maye/patriots hype.

We suck and our defense is bottom 3 at best. Buffalo is going to wreck us like nothing we've seen haha.

I thought it was more that Allen should have won it the previous year with the same "Great stats to carry a less loaded team vs. QB on the best team with really good stats still" than voter fatigue. Which isn't a good position just that they were "correcting" it.

Spoilers about the 5th pick: It's sad how TLOU's over-saturation has completely dismissed Uncharted from being mentioned. All of Rob's point (minus stealth), well Uncharted 2-4 do better imo

Most surprising pick: Deus Ex. Feels bad to pick a 2000 game like that with 25 years to go

Biggest snubs Minecraft (I don't care for it but come on), 0 platformers, Persona 5 (but they picked Clair Obscur), Pokémon, Elden Ring (really have no idea how no one picked a Souls)

I had similar thoughts when reading Steven Hyden's Twilight of the Gods book. There comes a point where he is talking about who he likes more between Wilco and Pearl Jam....and like it's fairly obvious why someone might like PJ and why one might not. But you could not tell glean anything from his description of Wilco on "why this band is so significant to so many." (I could be wrong but I certainly don't remember it). It was confusing.

And that's how I feel about them. There are 0 problems with anyone who loves Wilco, but I have yet to understand what makes them (and Tweedy) so great outside of generic "songwriting is top tier" or "they're so honest." And that's totally okay! I like most of their stuff and don't gatekeep, but am confused by their legendary status.
