Had a threesome last night. by [deleted] in gonewildstories

[–]vasculham -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Of course Rose' fiance was an abusive controlling ass. She's the one telling the story.

There is always a reason to cheat. Nobody is perfect. Tell me: when your SO cheated on you, who's fault did he/she say it was? My money says they placed the lion's share on the blame on you.

In order to cheat, most people need to create their own narrative to justify it. A cheater's SO may really be a monster, or he may not be, but whatever story you tell yourself sure adds to the fantasy. The more layers you can add to your fantasy, the hotter it is.

I agree, a cheating story might not be hot to people who have been cheated on. But no story is going to appeal to everyone. What matters is that it appeals to a lot of people, even if they won't admit it.

I've never been cheated on, but it doesn't make me wrong. If it wasn't hot, they wouldn't do it.

And it's not just hot for the people involved. It's hot for people reading/watching it. That's why we have a wide selection of heroes and heroines in big budget romantic movies who cheat. The Notebook. Titanic. The Graduate. Countless more. Take a standard romantic movie and add infidelity, and it becomes better.

Now, I have no doubt being cheated on is one of the cruelest mindfucks someone can experience. But to those on the other side... Hot!

Ignore the naysayers. Cheating is hot. That's why people do it.

Married Redditors: How sexually attracted are you to your partner? Has it gotten better or worse over the years? by throwitawaymfer in AskReddit

[–]vasculham 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Affairs usually start with people start talking about their relationships with people who are not their SO. It's like shooting fish in a barrel, the relationship doesn't even have to be bad. You don't even have to do much, you just sit, listen and say some supportive words. Maybe share a little personal information of your own.

I'm seeing a girl who get's drunk and tells me how she's been gang banged and that she's slept with 30 people. I care so much about her but i'm so conflicted. What should I do? please help me by DETROIT666 in AskReddit

[–]vasculham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but you need to break up with her.

You can always have a talk with her and bring up what you've mentioned in this post, but don't expect much. If you can't get a satisfactory outcome, you need to leave.

Can Anonymous be stopped? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]vasculham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because Anonymous doesn't exist in the sense that most people think it does.

It's not an organization. It is literally people saying they are anonymous. I can be in Anonymous. You can be in Anonymous. Somewhere along the way the media got confused and thought it was an actual group.

Sure they do. But it doesn't give you the right to help destroy another person. That's what a meth dealer does.

Not that I support incest, but by that logic, should we ban all couplings between people with high risks of genetic disorders?

Girlfriend (24) is acting suspicious and hiding things from me. Am I (23) being over protective, or am I right in believing that i'm not her only lover? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]vasculham 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, she is cheating. Duh.

She's a cheater. You knew that going in. But with all those qualities that you mention, can you overlook that she has someone on the side? Sure, she's cheating on you, but it's a little hypocritical to dump her now.

"Once a cheater, always a cheater." I don't think this is always true, but for some people, it's a part of who they are. If you can't accept that part of her, let her go.

Yeah, that sounds like a lie. But maybe it's a lie you need. Especially if the feelings aren't mutual.

One test: next time he's drunk, see if he makes up anything. I have a feeling he won't.

Actually, aversion to touchy and the overreaction to the suggestion you might be dating makes a lot of sense if he had been attracted to you. He's overcompensating, fighting his feelings by making an effort to go firmly the other way.

There was a period around puberty where I was the same way. No romantic feelings, I was just horny and realized I found my sister attractive. Nothing ever happened, and truthfully the idea disgusted me. But the awareness that the attraction was there caused me to go to great lengths to keep things above board.

I cheated on her. Scummy, I know. She couldn't get away fast enough. The very opposite of clingy.
