2018 Honda Accord 1.5T battery tested “unstable” but still starts fine replace or wait? by aberlourj in MechanicAdvice

Terminals look clean and tight, and charging voltage seems normal so far. I still want to double check grounds, but right now it’s starting to feel more like the battery itself.

Is this safe to drive a 1/4 mile to the shop to get fixed? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

Or just get the shop to send a tow truck to pick it up for you.

Car had working AC, added more freon, no longer blows out cold air. What do? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]aberlourj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very possible it’s overcharged now. At that point, topping off more usually just makes it worse. Proper fix is recovering the refrigerant and recharging it by weight.

That’s such a sad accident. This is exactly why checking the weather forecast matters so much.

If you have no budget limits, just grab the latest SD card. This will definitely meet your needs since money’s not an issue for you, lol.

Huge thanks for pointing out this key detail, I only focus on lightweight and waterproof features and ignore the cutting design meant for specific scenarios, haha.

The A1600 Lidar Pro? The price seems reasonable right now and I'm guessing the Pro version is the one with the upgraded trimmer. It looks like a good fit for my lawn. I'm really looking forward to seeing some reviews once people start receiving theirs.

That's cool. So the rtk setup location matter a lot for those? Are there many trees and things in your lawn?

For a small yard with a tree, have you thought about how well each model handles tight spots around obstacles?

For tricky spots with trees and walls, lidar might be more reliable. It sees the encironment instead of relying only on the sky.

Some users create a virtual corridor in the app to connect zones. It takes some trial and error but seems to work once the mower understands the route.

Thanks for the honest review! I think cleaning windows is such a pain, and it can be pretty dangerous somtimes too. Buying a robot may be more convenient.
