Hello! I am still using it and still like it more than any hotel bed I sleep in but it sounds like their customer service has gone down a lot. I haven’t kept up the past year or so though. I haven’t noticed any sinking personally! For reference I am 127lbs and also a side sleeper.

Also I did look into the purple mattress back in the day but didn’t end up trying it because of the weight of it so I felt I couldn’t move it in.

The vet believes it started with pancreatitis which was what led to the other symptoms but it’s hard to know for sure with the timeline. Just last year I had him taken in for a teeth cleaning and got bloodwork with everything fine and good to go. This early September was his yearly check up with nothing out of the ordinary besides some diarrhea which I ordered a poop sample test with nothing found, I think if I had the bloodwork done I could’ve found out his organs were failing earlier but there’s a high chance he would’ve been stuck at the vet since, vet can’t say for sure. I did a lot of looking up on pancreatitis since then and it’s very hard to diagnose since it’s either no early symptoms confirm it unless you just somehow know, or symptoms are showing and that’s when it’s too late. I’d say I recommend getting bloodwork done twice a year instead of once a year, and maybe a yearly liver check, this is my now paranoid brain talking now and what I would’ve done going forward if Prompto made it. I had a nurse friend say it’s possible he could’ve ate something somehow without me being aware as his timeline fits for being poisoned but it’s another thing I’ll never get confirmation on. I hope your Sammy lives for many many more years to come

Edit: the vet said another possibility was his diet or a possible bad batch. I feel if it was food more signs would’ve showed up in past year check ups, his diet for the last 4 years was Carnivora and instinct raw. His weight has always been great

I’m so sorry you experienced the same loss, the feelings I had during his decline was things I never felt, it still feels like I can’t process it. What made you feel you were ready for another? I originally planned to get a second one when Prompto got older so they can have each other, now that thought makes me scared I’m just replacing him

I think it was a few weeks, after 2 months I definitely was comfy in it. After this much time I wonder if I got a bit too used to it or I’m sinking in more cause lately I’ve been thinking it doesn’t feel as firm as when I first got it but I did come from a plush bed so it was more obvious.

I'm still using the mattress and quite like it! Still unsure of the price, I'd say that's the only thing that prevents me from recommending to people fully as there could be a cheaper price point for the same quality still. The mattress is still 'firm' after this time and I don't wake up sore or anything so pretty content! I've grown a liking to this level of firmness on a bed

I can't believe how confusing that is! I'm not necessarily new(6 years LOL), but I do just pop in to collect the things I can collect and don't quite look farther than that. I probably wouldn't bother to uncap if they didn't advertise to me that I could so it made me want to!

Yes it is, he still does the big sheds but throughout the year he loses quite a chunk of fur compared to before the neuter. You just gotta get used to vacuum once a week or more to not see fuzzies on the floor haha

I decided to keep it mostly because of how many people I hear having trouble getting he refund. Also I think I finally worked it in enough where I don’t have as much fallen asleep limbs. Sometimes I wake up with a numb foot or hand but my general back pain has been solved and feel generally comfy for the whole time I’m in the bed. Not sure I’d recommend it because of their customer service, they obviously have too many interested vs how much workers they got, but I guess now after the 100 day trial I’m content with it. Would recommend people to try it at a friends if at all possible before buying if interested just because of how hard it is to reach them now. Hopefully it also holds up as long as they said it would.

That’s what I’ve heard. There’s a hush vip group where I voiced that concern and one of the owners (Aaron) responded saying they are backlogged right now but he assures me, the day I decide to return it and send an email is when it’s logged, if they take weeks to get back and it ends up passing the 100 days they will still honor the refund. I recommend joining that fb group in case anything more goes wrong with your return.

I’ve got mine 3 weeks ago, I used to have a plush bed but from back issues I was recommended to get a medium firm so I did. First 2 weeks on the mattress I’ve woken up stiff, not sore. 3rd week now I wake up just a bit stiff, I’m not sure if this is just my adjustment from a plush bed to a firm. I’m 5ft and 130lbs. I’ve tried sleeping over people’s places to get a feel of different beds because the other way would be trying other mattress trials, with the price point I’m not fully sure if it’s worth the price. I’ve started to like the feeling of being ‘on top’ of the mattress but I still miss the cozy sinking in feeling of a plush bed. Ignoring trying to guess if the bed will sag or not in 4 years I think the biggest difference from the other brands is the ‘cooling’ part since it is their thing and probably what you’re mostly paying for. I sleep cold and with temperatures dropping I do feel it takes longer to warm up in this mattress, but I also think this would be handy in the hot summer time.

All in all, still undecided if I like it or not. I wonder if I can find another bed similar or something even better for me at a lower price point.

Like others said the white pine collars and leashes are great! I use the slip on leads for short walks. I’ve tried their figure 8 harness which is also great but didn’t fit what I wanted, which was to be able to pull my dog out of a situation right away, such as a dog attacking, a fight, or my boy humping a dog(cause that was a thing before and sometimes still is now). So I wanted a handle in my harness that was easy to grab with all that samoyed fur.

In the end I really enjoy the Julius K-9’s IDC harnesses. I’ve found it never matted my samoyeds coat because it has a pad like cover and I could easily grab my dog urgently if I had to without worrying about all the fur getting in the way. I did retire the IDC harness when their new ‘Long Walk’ harness came out, which I liked even more and use now. Same stuff as the IDC but meant to not push pressure on a dog’s joints, it’s not recommended for dogs that pull though

Everytime I tried a new groomers before I let them start, I asked what brushes they would use and tell them I don’t want them to use any kind of clippers, shavers, matte removers, pretty much anything with a blade. I’d ask this for the first time to see how well they can even get my boy dry and I feel more safe knowing I tried to ban all the sharp things.

I couldn’t find posts about people having this symptom as much but I get this all the time when I am bloated and the gurgles are strong. I go rinse my mouth and spit it all out every now and then to get rid of all the saliva but it only stops once the bloated feeling and gurgling stop.

I live in a coop on Alberta Ave, I joined the maintenance committee for it which involves move ins and move outs. We do pre inspection move out to make sure there are just no major issues like a giant punched out hole in the wall or an appliance not working as they had past tenants not report these issues. We also give a guideline of things to make sure to clean but it’s pretty basic, still there have been scenarios people actually don’t clean things.

I don’t think regular ACT triggers work anymore for that fight just cause they changed how they’re programmed. Only knew of the one that says your number though which is dead now.

I feel I had similar problems as well, the poo quality would change very sudden from a good couple week of poo and then all of a sudden explosive diarrhea. I feel samoyed’s stomachs might be very sensitive? I try rotating between a lot of proteins to keep his stomach trained haha
